I love the storyline and flavor of Alara Block and the Plane of Alara so much that I decided to make a Commander/E.D.H. deck for each Shard. This is my Naya deck, for which I chose Mayael the Anima to be the Commander. It revolves around creatures with power 5 or greater, in keeping with the theme of Naya, but also has a slight bit of Elf Tribal, plus lots of Beasts and Cats (both of which I would love to be able to squeeze in some tribal support for). Most of the cards that I used are from Alara Block, a notable exception being Rith, the Awakener, who was included because all ten of my E.D.H. decks feature their appropriate and iconic Legendary Numot, the Devastator.
