Another first place win, though this was by the skin of my teeth. 3-0-1 was the final count.
Got in there against WRR, MBC, and B/U Zombies. The all-star was Sigarda, Host of Herons because without her I probably wouldn't have made it against the Zombies since his board is built around me. He's a friend, so it was bound to happen.
The tie was in the last round against Esper Superfriends. First round I got in there too quick for him to realize what was going on. Second game was a 20 minute face off where I should have lost. I kept a one land (Clifftop Retreat), two Bonfire of the Damned hand (other cards as well since I didn't mulligan) to see how badly the game would go. Before I knew it he had played and flashbacked two Lingering Souls into my empty, two land board. I was dead on board. Top-deck land, Bonfire for one and game had been reset basically. The game continued till he had Sun Titans and copied titans eating me slowly. Couldn't topdeck my last Bonfire for board clear and got overwhelmed. Last game we sort of sped play, though I was trying to keep a normal pace since I wasn't wanting to slip up. Only notable thing was how I stole his Wurmcoil Engine via Zealous Conscripts into his empty board.
