So I have tried several Gruul formatted decks in standard, and I am having a hard time deciding which one I like the best. This was a idea that me and a friend were going to try for a PTQ. We never had a chance to play test, but I still think it is a good idea. I am putting it up here so that maybe one of you guys can get a chance at it.

To save a bunch of time on how this deck works, I will just talk about the changes that I made.

1. I run Boros Charm which is especially good in the control match up, due to the indestructible everything. On another note, it synergies well with every card in the deck, as well as being able to do four damage to the face. Being that most of the time I was doing 4 or 5 damage with flesh//blood I decided it was a fair swap. We suffer with a little less removal in the mirror game 1, but we have access to 4 Mizzium Mortars SB, so just roll face game one.

2 I have different creature distribution then most. Opted out of a 8th dork to access one more scavenging ooze

My maybe board are cards I have tried in the deck, and they all have showed promise against certain decks.
