Naya Nahiri (25-11 FNM)

Standard FNM Midrange RGW (Naya)

FaintlyThere

Sideboard

So this is my take on Naya Midrange which is one of my favorite builds in the current Metagame. It has so much versatility that you couldn't help fall in love with it.

I know what your first question might be...Why are their so many 'one of' in this deck. Well a few of them only need one of to perform right and the others are due to card availability so I'm expecting this deck to change as time goes on.

1 card in particular that needs mentioning is Eldrazi Displacer It's just a great utility card that should run in any deck that will allow it. I can't even begin to tell you how many games I've let someone flip an abbey just to blink it back into a land or watch them build counters until right before they swing so I can blink it, have it tap and watch the counters fall off of it.

There are actually several cards in my deck that benefit from Eldrazi Displacer as well, such as Goblin Dark-Dwellers, Ulvenwald Hydra, Linvala, the Preserver, Dragonlord Atarka.

I'm always open to suggestions and help on how this deck may be improved upon.

Well overall this was a poor showing for my deck and honestly I wish I could tell you why except the fact that I just had poor draws and little mana but alas here's the break down for this tournament

Round 1: B/R Vampires (0-2) - really both matches I kept high mana cost hands that ultimately cost me considering He was swinging for 10 on turn 3, second match seemed a bit more promising but still couldn't control the board fast enough

Round 2: G/W Tokens (2-0) - For some reason my deck performed well against this deck but it was a weird variation of G/W Tokens so that might have helped in my favor.

Round 3: Mardu Superfriends (1-2) - I was really impressed with my competitor's deck, it was a nice build and a good switch up from the normal top tier decks, with that said it was a heated battle all 3 matches as it really came down to who could get board presence first, ultimately after dropping him down to 4 life in game 3 my deck fizzled out on me

Round 4: U/B Control (2-0) - This was a good homebrew that could have been a tutelage deck but I never saw it pop off, Early cancels had me on the edge of my seat but I was able to turn it around with big creatures and a Dromoka to bring the game in my favor both times

Overall I finished 7th but still got a Promo Card lol. I'll actually be hanging this deck up for now as I work towards building Mono-White humans
