I would suggest trying Soulfire Grand Master. She helps stabilize against faster decks, makes Bob and Thoughtseize less painful, and her buyback should be easy to use if you are trying to make the game go long. I have found that it can be back braking to buy back just 1 card in some matches.

The main issue with Soulfire Grand Master is that he takes up my two drop slot. I need this deck to have powerful tempo to keep my opponents off their feet; killing creatures with non-creature spells. Because of this I feel Grand Master is too slow because she either prevents me from playing Bob as early as I need to or from playing a spell turn or even later in the game. I do need lifegain however which is why I run Lightning Helix and Batterskull. Thank you for the suggestion however, and I will keep Soulfire Grand Master in mind.

@Mogis_Mtg: that was very elegantly said. Lol. Because you need life gain you may want to consider using the Grand Master tonight instead of the helix. Unless you already have helix's... BTW metagame seems pretty slow rn.

Hey man, I love the way the deck plays, but I don't have any suggestions; I don't have much experience with the archetype. On another note, what was your code to get the boxes translucent?

Really cool deck, +1. Slaughter Games could be good in the side

A good point, but why run Slaughter Games over Surgical Extraction? Yes I understand it has to be in their graveyard, but it costs so much less. I will consider it however.

@Mogis_Mtg, Jimmy_Chinchila: Slaughter games is better. imo maybe a 1/2 split or something? The games hits twin, storm, infect, grishoalbrand... But the extraction may still be good enough to warrant a one of in the SB

Yeah Extraction is pretty good, can't beat that cost.

hey, man! just stopping by to check out the deck. If I may, what's stopping you from running Shambling Vent? I seeLavaclaw Reaches, but why not both? I know tap lands can slow things down, too, but in my experience; not only has it won me games, but helps a bit with lifelink (I see Lightning Helix).
Not bad, + 1

@cplvela0811: Hey man. Mogis is no longer invested in this deck and is onto another. That is why he is no longer updating the deck. Thanks for the comment though! :)
