I wanted a standard B/W/G deck that was more heavily devoted to black.

There are several ways that keep your opponents out of the game in this deck.

Erebos, God of the Dead stops all lifegain opponents in their tracks.

Agent of the Fates is a mean blocker and can attack in frequently enough due to his deathtouch.

The kill spells in this deck are varied to keep a Slaughter Games or Reap Intellect from catching them all. Doom Blade, Abrupt Decay, Hero's Downfall, and Putrefy are all placed in this deck for the multitude of targets they can hit.
