Deathreap Ritual may help with your draw, and Putrefy may help a bit with control. Nice deck though!

Blossoming Wreath doesn't really do a lot for your deck. Maybe consider swapping it out for something like Lord of Extinction, Fauna Shaman, or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed

Wow, Fauna is amazing. And I really want Lord of Extinction, I just haven't gotten around to finding / ordering one yet. I do have Mikaeus tho, I can sub him in for the B Wreath. And Ill deff be looking to add Fauna as soon as possible, haha. Thanks for the critique!

Yeah, I believe I have about four copies of Grave Betrayal in the ol' binder, so I can easily give that a try / spot. -That's funny you bring up Grave Pact tho; a good friend recommended that I run that just last night, haha. Thanks for the advice, cheers!

So digging through my binders, I found copies of Gloom Surgeon & Bonehoard ... Feel like these deserved a spot on the lineup. Any thoughts?
November 19, 2014 1:39 p.m.
Bonehoard is a def yes but Gloom Surgeon I wouldn't. You kinda want your creatures to die for the graveyard shinanigans
November 19, 2014 1:49 p.m.
Bone Shredder, Shriekmaw, Nekrataal are decent removals + they get your graveyard count up.
Reaper of the Wilds. Skirsdag High Priest, Falkenrath Noble, Butcher of Malakir , Blood Artist are cards that could work if you can make room for them.

Reaper of the Wilds used to be in there, but got cut after my latest purchases. Skirsdag High Priest is a BEAST, Ill have to snag that for sure. - I really like Bone Shredder, being able to chose not to pay the echo and pump the graveyard is boss. Same with Shriekmaw, use the Evoke to destroy, then add another to the grave count? I love it! haha ... Ironically, the vampires mentioned are going to be used in the tribal-vamp EDH deck Ive been building the past week or so. Im the first of my group to break into this format, and I wanted a loaner deck until more of them get into it. Thanks again, Goodair, your critiques have been a huuuge help!
November 19, 2014 3:05 p.m.
Glad to help, this is pretty much the same exact deck I would build for EDH but I'm pretty broke atm lol. I love golgari and combos possible with the two colors.
November 19, 2014 5:16 p.m.
I can help you refine the deck some more later on today, keeping in mind not to use 4$40 cards lol
November 19, 2014 5:17 p.m.
Beacon of Unrest, Greater Good, Phyrexian Arena, Skullclamp, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach
Now cards to cut... this is what I hate most about making decks
November 19, 2014 11:32 p.m.
For starters, you should cut :Elves of Deep Shadow , Reassembling Skeleton, Tilling Treefolk, Greater Mossdog. Maybe Empty the Pits since it hurts your grave. We should look for something that can protect you from grave hate now that I think of it btw.

I remember Elves/Shadow and Mossdog were both on the chopping block when my last order arrived, and Ive had the same thought about Empty/Pits, so I wouldn't mind seeing those dropped. Treefolk has been useful before, but Im sure theres better ammo for that chamber haha. I do kind of like Re- Skeleton tho; the option to pull it back anytime is nice if things are going badly. - Ive been wanting to add Skullclamp for a while now, and keep forgetting to grab one. The draw-fuel is gold
November 20, 2014 6:35 p.m.
Filth, Brawn, Genesis, Oversold Cemetery will be my last suggestions for now lol. We can focus on cutting cards now if you want

Filth and Brawn both came in the mail over the weekend; and I completely spaced about the Cemetery in my save-for-later list, again. haha

I would suggest Maelstrom Pulse it may not seem as good in commander as other formats but I've found it to be a game winner against token decks, and worst case scenario it's a Putrefy that hits enchantments. Hope this helps other wise great deck +1.

Hello There,
I have for my meta a well balanced and built jarad deck that your more then welcome to look at. I haven't listed down the exact combos (tbh just lazy) but I've been slowly putting them in. My Jarad started out as a mixture of self mill and beefy dudes, but has evolved into a semi-combo deck. In all +1 for sure since yours looks pretty awesome as well. Keep up the good work.

Vraska the Unseen is pretty cool. Varolz, the Scar-Striped could be another alternate commander or as part of the 99. Him and skullbriar play real nicely together
