there may be major revisions soon ,but i think i could possibly get this equivelant to your land do

well, it is impressive....haven't played against other decks, but discarding 3 cards turn 2 and 2 or 3 more turn 3 is annoying: very disruptive.
1: adjust mana so there is more black. But I know u know that because this is the exact economy from my lando...
2: need a way to kill them better. They will no doubt get some critter down that will be a beast so,
here are a pile of cards that I thought were thought provoking:
Pain Magnification , Zur's Weirding , Abyssal Specter , Ana Battlemage , Blizzard Specter .
I especially found Zur's Weirding interesting, if you have more life than them, you can simply deny them a card when they draw. They can do it to you, but that's why u need more life, so you out last them and then they are stagnet while you kill them. Just a thought.
Also I though of a buff deck that revolves around your discarding and this creature: Ashiok's Adept . If you get adept down there and buff it up with, Helm of the Ghastlord , Ordeal of Erebos , or Elder Mastery , then you got a fat critter that is also discarding their cards.
there are some immediate thoughts...

oh, i was typing when u said ignore land colors, har did de har!
April 30, 2014 5:43 p.m.
i forgot to mention that Ashiok's Adept is discarding upon enchantment, because it is targeting.
April 30, 2014 5:45 p.m.
well before you suggested i put this creature in here Nyxathid
and then Nezumi Shortfang s flip abilty is devastating especially if he is the only creature on the field ,because then he is doing six damage a turn Zur's Weirding combined with Boomerang or some other form of return to hand method would do well so it only happens to them and not me and it solves my problem with instants getting past and then i dont have to worry about countering there instants.
and i had considered Blizzard Specter but they choose what permanent to return.the other cards i just dont think theyd be good.
The other deck idea though im trying to get away from depending on a single set of cards.

Just a comment on your description under deck weakness: they actually wouldn't be able to play an instant before you sent it to the graveyard.
The Weirding says "If a player would draw a card ... reveals it instead." So that card never actually makes it to their hand unless you allow it to.
