Sideboard


The main deck tech is to use Neheb, the Eternal to fuel Torment of Hailfire

The early game our goal is to simply hold out until we can get Neheb on the board Soul-Scar Mage is a good early game body and it makes killing gods a little easier Firebrand Archer adds a little value into NehebWe use Cathartic Reunion and Tormenting Voice to ensure we make our land drops and get our deck tech

Cut / Ribbons is a great kill it hits most creatures and the Ribbons half is a back up if we don't draw a Torment of Hailfire

Combustible Gearhulk is a great finisher of a creature but if our opponent is going wide or has a lot of artifact hate Chaos Maw is a great alternative Sweltering Suns is also to combat go wide strategies

Finally in the main deck Insult / Injury adds player and creature damage.

Value Zone: If Neheb is on the battlefieldChandra, Torch of Defiance +1 of exiling a card produces mana if we don't cast the cardSunscorched Desert gives two mana the turn that it is droppedShock becomes a ramp spell

Side Board: Abrade to deal with artifact reliant decks ie God-Pharaoh's Gift decksChandra's Defeat, Liliana's Defeat, and Never / Return are planeswalker spot removalChaos Maw and Combustible Gearhulk lets us edit our creature finishers to deal with our opponent's deckHour of Devastation is to deal with god heavy or superfriend decks Crook of Condemnation is to deal with graveyard strategy decks.
