Alright finally got my Nekusar reworked and its all about the wheels baby.

The object of this deck is to get Neku out and protect him as good as you can through things like curators ward, darksteel plate, lightning greaves, propaganda etc. Once the boi is out on the field you just want to wheel into more wheels into more wheels. Im running a ton of removal to protect against pesky permanents that give life gain, or things like orbs of warding that are a huge pain to Neku. Commander is afterall a political game so having removal to get rid of the things your opponents hate can be the key to keeping Nekusar on the field a bit longer. There is a few backup win conditions like the duskmantle/mindcrank combo, or hive mind/pact of negation to take out anyone not running blue. But for the most part youve just got wheel synergy in draw damage and discard damage. The craziest card in this deck I would have to say hands down is Dream Halls! Get it while you can as it is on the reserved list but its a pretty crazy enchantment that lets you discard a card that shares a color with whatever spell you are trying to cast instead of paying its mana cost. You can imagine in a deck with so many wheels what happens when you get to do this! There is a bit of recursion with things like Kess, and Snappy to help get back some wheels or do some shuffle madness. Other cards that were heavily thought about but didnt make final cuts for me because I do not like relying on infinite combos were things like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye to combo with Niv. This deck runs alot of board wipes in the scope of things. Some crazy combos are to evacuation into windfall or likewise cyclonic' into windfall or any other of the wheels that are based off the largest number discarded that way. Its pretty frequent that you will be wheeling someone out of all 7 of their cards, with things like Megrim/ Lili's Caress on the board any of the wheels that say discard really hurt!

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do! Nekusar was my first commander so he will always have a spot in my heart, and apart from a more optimized land base Im glad to have it finished a bit. (More or less.) ;)
