This deck was the first commander I ever built. i am proud of it. waiting for this years core set to finish the deck. one. more. card.

it's fairly cut and dry. Fate Unraveler and Nekusar, the Mindrazer are doling out damage with draw to your opponents. Font of Mythos and Howling Mine are steadily forcing draw every turn. if/when my hand becomes empty or situationally unfavorable, use Jace's Archivist to get a new hand, and punish your opponents at the same time. there are draw and mill spells to help you along the way.Helm of the Ghastlord + Nekusar, the Mindrazer with the way its worded, at their upkeep they are drawing, taking damage from nekusar, you get to draw, and they discard their hands as they draw it.

Megrim, Bloodchief Ascension, Quest for the Nihil Stone, and Mindcrank function like clockwork, punishing for draw, life loss, discard, and empty hands along the way. eventually Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank create an infinite damage/mill loop, defeating your opponents.

my favorite play in this deck, by far, is letting your opponent build a massive field, overloading Cyclonic Rift and then using Jace's Archivist to make them discard everything they worked so hard to create.
