Maybeboard

I find that the deck performs well and its quite fun to play, helping the ones that needs it and maybe wheel hands if ppl has certain threats in hand or if they've tutored a bunch.¨'

Testing changes: -dread summons -djinn illuminatus - treasonous ogre +Jin gitaxis + Baral, chief of compliance + cursed totem

Replacing Lim Dúl's Vault with Moonlight Bargain

OUT:Tainted Strike In: Animate Dead

Cards to replace the cards below until I get them: 1 deranged assistant 1x Lim-Dul's Vault (ALL) 1 Champion of wits F 1 Radiate

removed 1x Mystical Tutor (SS1) F

2020-05-03 notes: I'm thinking of adding Kalitas, traitor of Geth to the deck. Seems quite potent. Plus, with so many legendaries, Sakashima might come in again! I'm also looking ag other cards like Search for azcanta, dread summons etc.

Potential add: Kalitas, traitor of Geth Dread Summons Search for Azcanta Mana confluence

Cards to be replaced Meekstone Cling to dust vivid creek

Red Elemental Blast can be moved to the "sideboard"

2020-05-02 changes: - Demonic Tutor - Vamp Tutor

  • Plunge into Darkness
  • Demonic Consultation

Reason for decision: I feel like tutoring with these two cards is just too powerful. Like there should be drawbacks for doing something that... powerful. And the replacement spells definetly has its uses and comes with great risks. I also believe that they will change up how I play in many different situations. Since combopieces can get removed and what not.

2020-03-24 changes: Out: 1x Dockside Extortionist 1x The Scarab God 1x Commit // Memory In: 1x Cling to Dust 1x Sedris, the Traitor King 1x Reins of Power

Reasons: Mostly because I don't have the cards yet and I have a softspot for Sedris, plus I really want to try Cling to Dust. I removed Commit // Memory because I've felt that it didn't do much for me. Reins of Power is such a cool and powerful card that I just have to try it.

Out: Teferi's Puzzlebox Price of Progress

In: Ashiok, Dream Render
Command the dreadhorde

2019-05-21 changes: - Heartless Hidetsugu + Neheb, Dreadhorde Chieftain

Reasoning: My reasoning here is that Neheb has a higher ceiling than Hidetsugu potentialwise. Yes, there are certain combos where I can win on the spot with Hidetsugu + Tainted Strike + Glacial Chasm but its quite the amount of pieces. Yes, Hidetsugu can deal damage with Glacial Chasm out, which Neheb cannot. Yet, Hidetsugu never outright kills my opponents. He costs 1 more and is usually used as bait so people would rather kill him first than for example Nekusar.

Neheb tho, he has better synergies in with the deck. I work a lot out of the graveyard and he fills it right up. I can also keep the cards I do not want to discard, which is rather excellent since if they're not of value, I can just fill up my graveyard and draw new cards. He gives me the mana to cast for example Mana Geyser on my second mainphase, which is excellent since I get to keep the other coloured mana from my lands. Also, Neheb works quite well with cards like Archfiend of Ifnir and brilliantly with Library of Leng . Whip of Erebos is the common denominator with Neheb and Hidetsugu, it gives them haste, Hidetsugu gets initially more damage on its own, but Neheb can turn one hit into a win if things goes well. Both work really well with Basilisk Collar , trample and deathtouch ain't nothing to scoff at and it makes my opponent have to block with atleast 5 creatures. Anyway, Im testing out Neheb in Hidetsugus spot for now. Im excited to try Neheb in the 99.
