It's so good. I'm actually re-considering Dream Halls in the main. I've generally been able to abuse it way more than my opponents. I very rarely wasn't able to kill the table after landing it, and I would imagine it only gets better since I added the fork cards.

I took my transmute package out because I felt it was significantly weaker without Dream Halls . How well are they working out for you? I did like Perplex a lot but it may find its way back in soon.

Perplex and Clutch of the Undercity are all stars. Muddle the Mixture is iffy and I'm looking for a replacement.

Do you find yourself casting or transmutting more often? I've casted perplex, but clutch is too low impact for me to want to cast it. It was just another REALLY expensive tutor.

I'm curious as to what spells your opponents are casting to make you scared of playing dream halls?
August 31, 2014 8:27 p.m.
counter magic and removal, of which they are able to find easily enough with the wheels I would be casting.

told you,Clutch of the Undercity and Perplex are all stars. Muddle the Mixture is iffy and I am finding a replacement.

Clutch of the Undercity can bounce any permanent. there is sometimes that one card on the field that is screwing up your whole plan. If you could remove it then you would win. that is what it does and if you don't have to bounce anything you can transmute. Its the versatility that makes the card so good.

Lol I was asking if you found yourself casting them more often or transmuting? I cast perplex a fair amount of times but clutch has always been an overpriced tutor. The transmute cards were definitely better with Dream Halls because I never used my mana for wheels just spells/abilities I needed. Transmutting just isn't the most exciting thing to do for 3 mana in my opinion.

Both sides of the cards have proven their worth in my games

What's your opinion on the shroud equipments? I was thinking about possibly working Niv into the main (because you persuaded me away from adding dream halls. Lol) with possibly adding the haste/shroud equipments and Anger . It's a lot of mana bu it just seems so wrong to play every card that combos with niv, and NOT actually playing him. Lol
August 31, 2014 10:16 p.m.
I haven't really tested niv extensively. Go ahead and try it
August 31, 2014 10:18 p.m.
look into Aboshan's Desire and maybe Vampiric Link they caught my eye
August 31, 2014 10:22 p.m.
shroud is unconvincing in its use because once you strap it onto nekusar you can't target him anymore. and board wipes still work on him. there are the equipments that give indestructable. the number of avenues that you have to block up in order to protect him are considerable and may be to many if you want to make the deck as competitive as possible

It's just one of those things where if psychosis crawler almost isn't worth casting on 5 mana and has basically the same ability, your first curiosity is going on Nekusar anyway, AND I'd have to add 2-3 more cards to skip the awkward wait to untap to win moment... Makes it almost seem like it's forcing something to work because I want it to.
August 31, 2014 10:25 p.m.
Psychosis Crawler and Curiosity go infinite I think.

Well that IS what I'm aiming for. I literally sat down wit this thing thinking "how do I outrace 3 other people?"
As far as your suggestions: I don't like the shroud cards myself. Which was on my mind when considering Lightning Greaves consider we don't play enough creatures to equip, enchant, re-equip. And I feel like Sigil of Sleep is better than Vampiric Link because you can basically just keep all problem creatures off the board essentially "preventing" a lot more damage by bouncing 2 creatures per player on their turns vs. the 6 life you would gain. Naturally it's WAY better when chaining wheels acting like a Plague Wind . Maybe give it a whirl and see how you like it?
August 31, 2014 10:33 p.m.
I did, I simply haven't had the problem of playing against something that is more aggressive than my deck. With creatures as the main force of aggression, so it hasn' t been needed. I have tested it though and I do really like it. Its essentially in my sideboard for decks like Kaalia of the Vast or Omnath, Locus of Mana .
August 31, 2014 10:37 p.m.
The reason why it isn't an auto include is because I hope to be killing them before the issue of attacking with several demons, angels, and dragons comes up. Sigil of Sleep becomes a non-factor almost.

Yeah Sigil of Sleep works great where you aren't the aggressor and the one who is is creature based. It is a solid sideboard main board if you understand the meta. I really should retry Mind Over Matter you keep talking about it . I have to, not sure what to take out.
