Most people build Phelddagrif as a group hug deck, but I find group hug to be an unexciting deck type so I went with politics instead. Why give things away for free when you can cut deals for them?

This is a political EDH deck that combines political cards and pillow fort. Basically you drop pillow fort early and try to manipulate other players so that the weaker players gang up on the strongest player until they are dead or neutralized. After that you make alliances and back stab until you can draw into Dovescape + Guile or Divine Intervention. Is this an efficient way to win? Probably not, but it's fun!

This is a janky deck full of political bears and pillow fort cards that are terrible in 1v1, but end up being powerful political tools in multiplayer games. You can convince people to stop attacking you in exchange for cards, hippo tokens, life gain, political favors... you name it.

Also, as a side theme, I try to put as many gaudy cards in the deck as possible. My theory is that when my opponents see cards cards that look stupid looking they don't perceive me as a real threat.

The biggest downsides are that this deck can't compete against fast competitive decks and takes a long time to win. This deck also plays horribly in a 1v1 scenario, which is why you want to avoid that at all costs. If you like EDH politics it's a lot of fun though.
