Blight is also another cheap way to get rid of lands, a bit conditional, but is still gonna make your opponent think twice before doing anything.

4x Strip Mine is just plain cruel lol. I thought it was restricted in Vintage?

Why no Terravore ?

I also came here to post about Terravore . Because of how many of your own lands end up being pitched, I think it will be a lot easier to use him as a finisher rather than the expensive Avenger of Zendikar . Since you're in Red, you might also want to consider Avalanche Riders .

I really like Avenger in here with Khalni Garden. In addition, I would consider Amulet of Vigor for a great deal of extra mana.

How about Life from the Loam instead of Tilling Treefolk ?

Worm Harvest could be pretty solid, it's 5 cmc, but either b/g.

Dingus Egg would be infuriating. May restrict you a bit, but you would be in total control of when/if you got hit, and they'd have no control.

Dingus Egg is ok but it effects Army Ants , Strip Mine , Constant Mists , and Dryad Arbor . I personally think It wouldn't work to well in this deck.

and if Fastbond gets Countered?...

cestdesconneries Then Exploration will handle it. I just have to grind it out. Thats why I say its a land burn deck. Strip Mine

I have been thinking about putting in a few counter spells. maybe Pact of Negation .

P.s. Its hard to counter spell Fastbond when you do not have any land.

I guess I was just thinking in a well constructed deck, the opponent could have a Daze (if they went first) or a Force of Will . Words like "Vintage" always makes those two cards pop up in my mind '

Surprisingly enough, those cards come to mind before Black Lotus ...

cestdesconneries your point is a good one. There is no deck that is 100% unbeatable. So that is my risk here. If you have any suggestions i would love to hear them.

I was thinking Eternal Witness could help, but you're right, nothing is 100%

cestdesconneries Eternal Witness could be a good fit. I am looking for a good Sylvan Scrying alternative to pull enchantments or green card. So i can get to Fastbond .
