ITS TIME FOR ORZHOV TO SHOW ITS TRUE POWERRRRRR!!!!!
So Orvhoz is my favorite guild and i wanted to make a deck that did it justice. This deck can constantly remove your opponents creatures and make sure any win cons they have out get shut down by Merciless Eviction. It usually wins with Gideon, Champion of Justice or simply beating your opponents to pulp with Desecration Demon and Obzedat, Ghost Council. The deck could be used as an aggressive midrange or a late game control.
Creatures:High Priest of Penance: This baby says "attack me and you lose your nice guy".
Lifebane Zombie: 3/1 Intimidate and exiles a creature card. Any downside?
Desecration Demon: Insanely powerful 4 drop. Can get locked down against tokens though.
Obzedat, Ghost Council: 2+ damage every turn and you get 2 life?. Also removal resistant??? WHAT?
Removal:Bile Blight: Takes down Pack Rat, Boros Reckoner,
Master of Waves
etc.
Celestial Flare: Speaks for itself. Gets Master of Cruelties every time.
Devour Flesh: "Thats a nice creature you have there, i'll give you the honor of sacrificing it."
Heroes Downfall
: I wish I had 4. Kills a creature? Cool, it's Murder. Kills a creature or a planeswalker? It's awesome
Ultimate Price: Gets the job done.
Merciless Eviction: For 2 more mana than Supreme Verdict you get to choose what goes away, and IT EXILES THEM. Wonderful card.
Planewalkers:
Gideon, Champion of Justice Excellent win con. get loyalty super fast and beats your opponents up. If the game isn't going well you get a restart but you start with a creature.
I'd love to put some Elspeth, Sun's Champion in but no one will trade them and money.
Enchantments:
Blind Obedience "oh sorry haste, didn't see you there." This card gets you life and drains your opponents, and often forces a sacrifice to stop Desecration Demon.
