Sideboard

Ideally this deck operates like the original Delver of Secrets deck did without the turn 1 creature. Use the counter spells to control the creatures and keep the opponent on the back foot. Plenty of ways to keep up mana to represent way more than one has. Quicken also helps in being patient and allowing them to commit more to the board before we drop an Anger of the Gods or Mizzium Mortars.

Once we've established that they're "out of gas," so to speak, we can feel free to drop a Spellheart Chimera or Guttersnipe to finish them off.

After more extensive testing, I found that Young Pyromancer does not have a place in this deck. I had originally created this deck to be a new Delver deck and I think that I have finally come to it. Use the early turns to control creatures or burn my opponent down; once they start to stumble, throw down a Guttersnipe or Spellheart Chimera and finish them off.
