Cams up with the 3 letter code for the format. What do you think? (SHF) or (SLF)?

YAY YOU GOT FEATURED TO 13800 PEOPLE!!!
TheFoilAjani you should post the official thread link in the comments!
March 13, 2016 9:45 p.m.
Also. If Jace+Stoneforge are banned, why isn't BBE? its the key piece of the jund deck. The deck still lives without it, but is MUCH more fair
Also, Sprouting Thrinax is STILL OP... it would be great in todays standard too.

bah-bammmm- Legacy age cards are simply too different from modern age cards. It just wouldn't be compatible.

It just wouldn't be compatible? What do you have to back this up?

Find the most op standard decks of that time and post them here. We'll take a look at them and go from there. The difference between today's standards and back then, is that they were called different things (type 2 or 1 and standard) and deck building was very different, like having to incorporate 5 cards from each legal set

that reasoning is not any good at all. its very simple: ban the reserved list! none of those decks are any too powerful that it can hurt. OH NO!!! A Serendib Efreet!!! the thing is with banning some cards, those decks are perfectly fair. and to be honest, this format wasn't even invented by you guys. take a look.

this guy knows what's up.

This actually came first. The link you shared was from 10 months ago, which is May 2015. The first comment on this thread is from the beginning of April, 2015, and I know the thread was up earlier than that. The creator also had the idea some time before putting it up

So, using your terminology, THIS guy (bananamaniaman) knows what's up.
Also, this is the Internet. If you don't like something, you can ignore it and move on with your life and us with ours.

Yeah, and I you look at the first comment on the Reddit post, old standard isn't even a format... It was just a guy going around with his old standard decks and playing against people.

Correct me if I've done this wrong, but I believe we can link decks we want to add to the format right?

bah-bammmm: You may very well be right that legacy standard would fit with modern standard with this idea, but, put very simply, it isn't what shelf is. No one is stopping you from making your own thread with this idea except including ur idea of legacy. No is going to accuse u of stealing this idea. If u do so chose to do this, I wish u the very best of luck and hope it gains traction.
sincerely,
me

And we haven't even turned down the idea. Later on, when the format is already established, we will probably look into the older sets anyway. So I'm not sure why he got mad :P

Pro tour 1996 This is what standard in 1996 looked like. Who wants to pit Path to Exile against Swords to Plowshares? Which deck in the modern world wants to fight against Balance and Black Vise and Strip Mine and Armageddon? I know I don't...

True, bah-bammmm. like the artifact lands in Mirrodin.
