AwesomeName ...ok, I'm confused. You do know that most of your deck is banned, right? I understand testing cards that potentially should be banned is ok, but using cards that are already known to be overpowered (and are stated as banned in the format's description) in a tournament is not the same thing at all... I sincerely request you change your decklist to comply with the bannings TheFoilAjani has put in place.

Voxzorz, It's fine, I understand your confusion. See, the thing is, I'm actually one of the creators of the banned list, and made the deck to test if the cards are worthy of being banned. But if you guys think those cards are definitely Op and just are going to be unfair for the testing, which I totally understand, I'm fine with using a different deck. I'll also update my description to clarify the confusion, sure!
@Nef, Thanks for the update, looks nice!
@TheFoilAjani, Omg! You actually made a website! That's awesome! Thanks so much!

AwesomeName OOOOHHHHHHHHHH.... Sorry, I didn't know you were involved with developing the format...I understand now. I'm still skeptical about facing the deck though...I've playtested against it countless times and the only time I won was when I had double Thoughtseize in my opening hand and you drew only lands for a while. Honestly I'd feel better if you used a different deck, especially since some of your cards are considered too powerful even for Modern. Thank you for understanding, and please know that this is in no way for my own benefit. I just want to make sure this tournament is a fair representation of what the format will be like. Also, if I may make a suggestion for the banned list, Umezawa's Jitte is as potentially format warping in this as it is in anything else. I'm not too certain how powerful it is in the decks it's available in, but I'd advise looking into removing it.

I like the name as nit make sense as when someone has a deck not in standard anymore they put it on the shelf and I very much like the idea of the format as it can be very versatile copated to other formats

Here's my first crack at this format. It's pretty cheap except for the caverns, which I would remove if I actually wanted to play with it in paper.

Voxzorz, Don't worry, it's totally fine! My deck was theoretical, as in "what if those cards weren't banned?" I was planning on testing it at this tournament, but you're right, now that I think of it it will definitely skew the results. We can test the banned list in another tournament just for that I think. I'll definitely change my deck to comply with the banned list for now, and I'll post the new deck soon!

bananamaniaman how did you get that sick picture of Ulamog in the background of your deck? That's so cool!

Ok. I know that this will have its flaws, like all game-types, and it will have dominant decks, like standard and modern. But hell yeah. This format is probably what I've been looking for my entire Magic career lol. +1 a million times over.

So how is this going to work? Because all the people signed up are going to be free at different times. Are you going to announce the matchups and then give everyone a certain amount of time (maybe until a day or two later) to play?
