Seems like a really fun deck, I'd add an extra Prophet of Kruphix since it opens up a world of possibilities and makes everything you do a real nightmare for your opponent. If you're gonna be drawing a lot of cards, it really helps you dump your hand.

Running Dispel in your sideboard might help protect your enchanted / pumped up creatures from removal spells, although Mizzium Skin probably covers you. Dispel has a lot of other uses too.

I think you might be better off with Elvish Mystic or Sylvan Caryatid instead of Gyre Sage, I'd prefer the immediate ramp rather than having to wait for Evolve.

Plasm Capture might be a neat idea, especially with Prophet untapping your lands for you. You can play your turn, untap everything, Plasm Capture to stop their biggest play and then have a TONNE of mana to play with to splurge your whole hand onto the table.

This deck has a lot of potential, and if your budget ever increases you could make some really nice additions I'm sure. It's very creative. Have you ever taken it to an FNM?

This deck cracks me up. It got the perfect spot on a monster thread. Seems like a fun deck though.

This deck has really nice sinergy. Even though Im not a fan of green, the amount of blue gives it a good measure of control and tweaking. And its budget!

Definitely +1 ;D

Snow_Lynx Make sure you check what page you are on. You need to comment on the guy on page 60, not page one.

This deck +1. I built a simic deck for a pauper tournament recently and I crushed it. Zameck Guildmage was the all-star because I could constantly be eating +1/+1 counters for card draw. He's just a great mana-sink, and would probably be even more powerful if he's out there with Prophet of Kruphix

I'm also thinking you might want to add a monstrous creature or two. It seems like you'll have tons of mana late-game and it'd be nice to be able to use it somewhere.

Since you're already running his prophet, why not try Kruphix, God of Horizons ? The colorless mana will help with your strive and X cards you have. (Hero of Leina Tower would benefit from him a lot!)

He's going slightly out of budget though. Still, not too bad. He's only ~$4 at the moment.

seems pretty good, I'd run something with the evolve mechanic though, i believe there was a cheap one that drew cards when it evolved, though i am not familiar with standard at all. the guild-gates seem a potential problem since you are running a more early game deck, and tapped mana in that type is really bad, i'd highly recommend running Breeding Pool instead. overall seems a great take on simic.

Have you considered Renegade Krasis or Kalonian Hydra ?

Since you are playing Battlefield Thaumaturge , have you considered the new strive mechanic? maybe something like Aerial Formation would work for easy dmg? :)

I'd recommend Experiment One in the Hero of Leina Tower slot. You can also look at Hour of Need . Doesn't quite work with this build but if a Battlefield Thaumaturge is out then it's 2 + 1 for each additional creature to add 4/4 fliers to your board. Even without the spell is good at 5 mana for 2 4/4 fliers. If you are sacrificing low value creatures. Heroes' Bane is also a good replace for Centaur Battlemaster He's not bad but if you can't trigger his heroic then he is kind of high priced. Heroes' Bane is usually better.

Go to the last page, this is page one. If you have commented here, you are probably leaving someone to hang, when you were supposed to comment on theirs.

I did originally. I only +1d it though so I don't think he saw it. I left a comment this time. My favorite decks are Simic variants. I'm currently running a mono-blue but if people have simic decks then chances are I'll at least look at them.

I was just trying to help the people out later in the thread. This deck is good, and it has the best placement. Everyone should +1 it then move on to the one they are supposed to comment or +1

Common suggestion I will always make is to remove Centaur Battlemaster and board Heroes' Bane instead. He gets really ridiculous with Solidarity of Heroes and then if you don't have that, you can force the increase yourself. Centaur might just sit there costing too much.

I'd switch 2 Hero of Leina Tower for another two Bioshift . I had her in an Aggro deck where she was completely useless if you drew her in the opening hand. If you immediately pumped her she was a horrible liability when it comes to removal. Being a rather creature-heavy deck, you'll want to use those early turns to gain board-advantage, only throwing her on the table after you already have excess mana to use.

Bioshift on the other hand is something you always want to have in your hand. If there's anything Simic Evolve taught me, it's that +1/+1 counters are an investment, and very much one you want to protect.

If not -2, +2 then at least -1, +1.

Regardless, I'd definitely try to squeeze in a fourth Bioshift since you have 20+ creatures to place the counter on.

Warriors' Lesson target two creatures for 1 mana instant speed and draw 2 cards!

the deck looks solid especially for a budget deck. I would suggest maybe a simic charm or two and some other spells that protect your creatures. cause you need to build up the counters and if you have your creatures easily exposed to kill spells it makes it harder on yourself.

I adore Simic Charm but I have found it's usefulness in the metagame less than optimal. While it's multiple options are nice and the hexproof avoids many kill / exile effects, it just doesn't do enough in the main. I'd suggest a more barbaric idea and just recommend running a Negate . This can hit many of those kill and exile targets but also stops Thoughtseize , Sphinx's Revelation , Whip of Erebos , Mizzium Mortars overloaded, Cyclonic Rift overloaded and Elspeth, Sun's Champion . Yes it does not stop Abrupt Decay like Simic Charm could but that's one of a possible 4 cards. It also loses the options for the boost and the bounce but most the reason for the charm is the hexproofing. The value in stopping their Elspeth, Whip, or Cyclonic Rift greatly overshadows the ability to avoid an abrupt decay or bounce one guy back with no counters in response to some boardwipe situation.
