Emyr, zandl, I like Gift of Orzhova but what do you guys think I should swap for it?

Honestly, Eidolon of Blossoms . It's too slow and you could just be winning by turn-5 with Hexproof instead of durdling around and drawing cards.

I concur.

You guys are right, I want Eidolon of Blossoms to work well but its not for this deck.

I'd take away a Gift of Orzhova and two Fleecemane Lion to make space for the trusty old Death Ward impression, Mending Touch x3. Fleecemane Lion sucks on otherwise dead removal from opponents' hand and Gift of Orzhova is a card that suffers heavily from diminishing returns while Mending Touch saves the day vs Supreme Verdict , a card you have little or no defense against right now. It might also be handy in combat and against other sweeper effects

Have you consider moving Fleecemane to the sideboard? If your opponent only sees Hexproof creatures for the entirety of game one, he or she may side out the spot removal in anticipation of it being dead. At that point, Fleecemane comes in and has no competition mid-game.

Otherwise, bjarkov is mostly right. The lion a huge target in the first game for removal that your opponent is just sitting on.

Also, I think you could find room to add in Ajani, Caller of the Pride . He's great with Hexproof things as you never have to be concerned with wasting his -3 to a removal spell. He'll buff them up safely until he's removed. His -3 will give you a huge amount of damage to deal and you can just tick him up (or down), cast the other Ajani when you need to, and simply sacrifice the old one.

zandl, bjarkov, I am definitely liking the ideas, for now I added Ajani, Caller of the Pride to the MB and Mending Touch to the SB, I could see switching Fleecemane Lion for one more Bassara Tower Archer and the Mending Touch how ever I feel like I might be running a little light on creatures at that point. Mending Touch and a fleet of enchantments aren't good for much if I can't play enough creatures.

Thoughts?

wtf O.o

I would replace Banishing Light with Arrest because its an Arua and would count for Eidolon of Countless Battles and Leafcrown Dryad over Bassara Tower Archer

Bassara Tower Archer is superior to the dryad in my opinion. This deck runs a lot of pumps, which mono black, borzhov, rakdos and burn removal have a lot of trouble dealing with.

I truly do not want this deck to become a thing :/

This reduces the removal options to Supreme Verdict , Planar Cleansing , Fated Retribution , an overloaded Mizzium Mortars , Devour Flesh and Extinguish All Hope

Damn O_o

Sunmonkey I will go with Bassara Tower Archer as it has hexproof. As far as Arrest it is hard to say, depending on the match up Arrest or Banishing Light could be better. I will have to wait and see on that one!

I really like this deck have you thought of Ajani's Pressence in the side board just for protection from board wipes?

I have a similar style deck if you don't mind checking it out Ajani, Mentor of Elspeth

Hi! I have a similar deck, I'd appreciate it if you could take a look: Selesnya Hexproof JOU.

The idea is to use the hexproof creatures and buff them hard. The only other creatures are Eidolon of Countless Battles and Heliod, God of the Sun , which also happen to be enchantments. Besides Ajani, Mentor of Heroes , the only other non-enchantment cards in the deck are Ajani's Presence , which can save us from a wrath for W, and Kruphix's Insight , which is awesome. Frankly, we only need one creature on the board. Then, we need enchantments, lots of them. And the Insight helps us get them as fast as possible.

I'm considering a slight splash red just to substitute Ajani's Presence with Boros Charm and have access to it's double strike ability, still retaining the versatility to give our creatures indestructible. But it's still just a thought, as I could also try and use Ajani, Caller of the Pride or keep it as it is.

Let me know what you think! +1 for your deck! Best of luck!

What do you think about adding Sylvan Caryatid for mana fixing, ramp, and aggro defense? There are a lot of double mana symbol, low CMC cards in the deck and it fits with the hexproof theme.

[Tethmos High Priest] would be great in this deck, can return more than half your creature base

Voice of Resurgence would be awesome in here against control decks. I built a deck similar to this, but with blue and I used 4 Elvish Mystic for turn two Witchstalker . Also, this deck is trying to win quickly, so maybe a 5 mana planeswalker shouldn't be in here. It is like trying to put an Elspeth, Sun's Champion into white weenies. It looks great, quick with good sustain. I can't see why this wouldn't work well.

I play Naya Hexproof but with a bit fewer creatures. If you plan on getting out more than two creatures (one for the suitup and one for the sacrifice) then you might consider a Dictate of Heliod . The flash is nice and it would essentially serve to suitup all your creatures at once.

Witchstalker good early bad late. Drop him for something else. Unless you have a solid argument for him.
