You should consider switching a swamp for Deserted Temple, it has great synergy with both Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.

venok if I were to pick one or the other, it'd be No Mercy simply because enchantments are much more difficult to deal with

Possible creature addition Hex Parasite. Good for counter removal. Loyalty, +1/+1 and so forth.

Possible sorcery addition: Life's Finale. Boardwipe and fuel up Geth for future turns.

Possible instant addition: Vampiric Tutor.

Possible enchantment addition: Attrition. Sacrifice the cheap creatures you stole to destroy the bigger threats.

Possilbe artifact addition: Amulet of Vigor. Because Geth is your commander.

Possible land addition: Petrified Field, depending on how big a target coffers or Nykthos is.

Riki_Oh I actually just cut Life's Finale recently from the deck to try to lower average CMC (the same reason I don't run Decree of Pain, I love the card, but it's costly as fuck). But if you can suggest stuff worth cutting I can work with what you've mentioned

In my opinion, you could take out...

1. Mind Stone for the Amulet. The Amulet is probably the first card I would add to your deck. My Geth deck runs it and it is great for getting blockers or mana rocks that you can immediately put to use.

2. Dark Ritual for the Tutor. I know the ritual isn't necessarily a dead card in the late game and it is certainly great for early game, but if you think you can afford to lose the potential early mana ramp, I would value the tutor higher.

3. Swamp for the Field. I'm sure you already knew this, and again, really only if your prize lands are targets during your matches. Otherwise High Market/Phyrexian Tower if you could use another sac outlet.

4. Animate Dead for Attrition. I may be missing the synergy with the Animate Dead (aside from Buried Alive), but I think Attrition would still make up for it.

5. The creature swap is the most difficult for me to suggest. Closest I can suggest is Vampire Hexmage. This would only be good during certain matches where you may need to repeat the ability more often than you could reuse your Vampire. Otherwise, your Vampire is more synergistic with your build.

If Iona is a threat you come across on a regular basis, which the inclusion and description of your use of withering boon suggests this possibility, then another temporary answer would be Contamination. This may be a card frowned upon for commander matches, but I would think no more than Iona herself is frowned upon.

Riki_Oh Iona is definitely frowned upon in the EDH community. The fact that she can single-handedly remove a player from the game makes her a force to be reckoned with. Cards like Withering Boon, Sadistic Sacrament, and Praetor's Grasp can deal with her before she completely ruins someone's game.

Hedonist's Trove. You never know when you might be facing a deck that has some good black instant or sorcery spells like Demonic Tutor that you could nab up!

IDontMakeSense I mean I run Mycosynth Lattice so I can theoretically cast anything I exile with Hedonist's Trove

Chainer, Dementia Master.......gets guys back cheaper than geth, with can be quite important though the exile clause is a bit annoying

lordmalphas Chainer is nice and is definitely strongly under consideration for the 99, but he doesn't grab artifacts, which is what makes Geth superior

IDK about your meta, but where I play there arent alot to get in the first place, and there aren't alot of ways to get them in the yard. for the record, I was recommending chainer for the 99 not as a new commander

lordmalphas yeah, like I said, I'd definitely consider Chainer for the 99. But my meta is definitely much more artifact-heavy and very artifact-removal heavy (hence I run Gate to Phyrexia)

Suggestions:

• Petrified Field - Land Recursion for those all important counting lands and their enablers

• Buried Ruin - Saves Artifacts

• Crucible of Worlds - Every deck should run this card to mitigate the effects of land destruction (from Strip Mine to Armageddon to Death Cloud)

Things you can do once these are in the deck:

• Run Fetchlands effectively: Polluted Delta, Bloodstained Mire, Marsh Flats, Verdant Catacombs

• Run your own targeted land destruction: Strip Mine, Wasteland, Dust Bowl

General Suggestion:

• Rings of Brighthearth - double trouble with Geth (two cards with the same CMC is very possible with mass mill of multiple players), copies Deserted Temple for infinite mana, copies regular land abilities for massive advantages (Strip Mine etc and fetches), and can easily result in a combo victory in conjunction with the IMO underutilized Mycosynth Lattice by stealing other people's artifacts from their grave (especially a Sensei's Divining Top, Basalt Monolith or Staff of Domination)

Something fun:

• Line up a huge amount of reanimation targets, pop a Nevinyrral's Disk withMycosynth Lattice in play. Game over!

Goatface flavor often gets in the way of functionality, I don't feel like Gonti's Aether Heart is a good use of the energy in the deck
