Enchantment (2)

Artifact (2)

Why spend a ton of money on nice creatures? I prefer to let others do it for me. Everything looks prettier as a zombie. This deck is designed to get to the front of the pack in the land race that is the first few turns of the game. Courser of Kruphix + Scouting Trek will guarantee some serious land (and life gain) early game. If not, Rampant Growth shows up often enough. Soon you should be able to get your cornerstone enchantments out (Grave Betrayal, Endless Ranks of the Dead , and Dictate of Erebos). By this time you should start seeing some fun creatures entering the battlefield under the control of your opponents. Removal spells (like Murder & Ulcerate) will allow you to get rid of those (then Grave Betrayal will let you take control of them). Thus marking the birth of what should become a "healthy" zombie horde. If this is a slow process and your life starts getting a little low, Exsanguinate will help keep your life total up (especially in multiplayer games). With removal spells, hexproof would usually be a natural concern, but not with this deck. Arcane Lighthouse and Archetype of Endurance should help bypass any hexproof that your opponents may control. If not, then Barter in Blood + Dictate of Erebos will force your opponents to practically hand their own creatures over to you on a silver platter. Unless you time Exsanguinate(s) well and win the game early, you will get to watch your horde grow larger and larger until your zombies can do what zombies do best.

Main win conditions Include: Army of the Damned + Endless Ranks of the Dead , Dictate of Erebos + Grave Betrayal , or even just a well-timed Exsanguinate or two.
