Undead Alchemist is a boss of a card, but he's pretty terrible outside of a dedicated mill deck. If you play him in this deck, suddenly your opponent's life total doesn't matter anymore. You seem to be trying to win using Zombie beats, so I would remove the alchy in favor of a less counter-productive card.

So then what do you think I should replace it with? As you can see I have put in Grimgrin, Corpse-Born .

Rooftop Storm + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Gravecrawler ....youre welcome. P.S. Untap allows the untap but does not limit it to that action..

Also, Grave Titan and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed are two of the best and are absolutely need if you decided to play rooftop storm

Ok thanks for those suggestions, running Rooftop Storm might be nice in another deck but the mana curve in this is designed to play out fast and give huge returns. I never have liked those huge spells. I prefer to keep my mana curve to lower numbers. Seven is usually the highest I'll go. I have been considering making a blue and white spell deck with a dash of black though.

Only thing I can say is replace Falkenrath noble with Blood Artist if you want his effect. Noble is too slow and counter productive if you want this deck k to be fast like you say.

But i also like that it has flying, do you think that the two turns it takes to put out Bloodline Keeper  Flip will hurt me that much? Or should i just put in the artists?

I would pick. Zombies or vampires. Besides Blood Artist, they have very little synergy.

Yeah, except for the little bit where vamps offset the default weakness most zombie have to flying. and yes there is removal but what if you're fighting a flying deck? not a whole lot you can do. I've tested this deck and it works pretty well in most of my battles. It has lost to a few control decks but other than that it has done really well.

Considering that this is supposed to be an aggro deck, you want most of your creatures topping at 3 or 4 CMC, with the majority being 2 or 3 drops. Blood artist helps a lot early game by giving you sustain while pinging your opponent, and it has a lot of synnergy with Gravecrawler , which you want 4 of, not 3. Geralf's Messenger could also find its way into here, having yet more synnergy with Artist. Falkenrath Noble is sharing your 4-drop spot with Bloodline Keeper  Flip and Call to the Kindred , so you're going to find your hands filled with cards that you can't cast yet due to low mana, and you'll have a weak early game.

I also reccomend Diregraf Ghoul for this deck, as he's really good for aggro zombies.

Ok so i traded noble for artist but Bloodline Keeper  Flip is not going any where and i do think that 4 Gravecrawler would be nice but i am on a budget so i cant go spending 24 dollars on 4 cards.

I agree with Bloodline Keeper  Flip , he's my alternate win-con in Blood of the Night v2 my BR Sac deck. And when building on a budget, you also have to remember that you can trade up for cards you want. A $6 Gravecrawler is really easy to grab from someone who doesn't want it anymore, as the deck it used to be run in is kind of dead in the competitive world now.

Child of Night , 1 colorless more than Shadow Alley Denizen but has lifelink and one more power, Vampire Nighthawk is another good one and Vampire Interloper might work also

And I would recommend more lands (1-2) and get rid of the Vile Rebirth , also maybe Read the Bones as opposed to Altar's Reap

Thanks for the input Lord007 I'm definitely going to switch the Vile Rebirth for two lands. I do however like Altar's Reap more than Read the Bones . The tough decision for me is whether to switch shadow alley for the nighthawk or just leave it as is. If I switch for the hawk I'll throw my mana curve way up there, on the other hand the hawk is oh so much better than the denizen. What do you think?

Lord007 says... #19

I think it could work. You currently only have 4 things in the 3-drop slot so I don't think it'll upset your curve too much.
