remove red entirely and include some normal removal I.e. Doom Blade or Disfigure .

And find something better than Nezumi Shortfang since I'm sure it exists something thats not a legend.

The basis of this deck is forcing your opponent to topdeck Nezumi Shortfang fits the bill perfectly. Imagine, with him and Quest for the Nihil Stone , as well as The Rack , your opponent has no cards in hand; they take 11 damage a turn! Add in Bottomless Pit and they can't escape that by holding cards in hand. Also, cutting red would mean losing Blightning and Terminate . Those two are extremely effective control. If you want to hurt them more, what about using Hellfire Mongrel and Megrim ? You could also add in Guul Draz Specter for a 5/5 flyer that your opponent probably has no answers for.

Nezumi Shortfang won't last more than a turn against most decks, as soon as it flips there will be some spot removal saved up to shoot it especially since there's only three creatures in this deck.

Yes Blightning and Terminate are great cards but I don't think the chance of not drawing the right mana for the right job is worth the risk since they can be simulated in many other ways.

I like the idea of the Guul Draz Specter you might want to add in some others like the, Hypnotic Specter and the Needle Specter just because it would fill the gaps.

But that's exactly my point with the shortfang, WHEN it flips, the opponent has NO cards in hand. Meaning, you play it AFTER you Duress /Mind Rot /Blightning /etc. etc. etc. It automatically makes Nezumi Shortfang flip into Stabwhisker the Odious .

As for the mana drawing, you have a point. I'd suggest putting some more 'burny' red spells in to balance out the red and black.

Putting in some more creature defenses in this deck would be a fine way to soak up some creature removal. Nyxathid and Rotting Rats might be good considerations for aggro-grabbers.

Thanks for the input guys. I tried using the spectres in the deck, but found it was way too slow and the opponent usually had too many threats on the board for this deck to win.

The point point of the deck is to force the opponent to top-deck by turn four (hopefully), so The Rack , Quest for the Nihil Stone and Stabwhisker the Odious can all pummel the opponent.

By splashing red and having Terminate and Lightning Bolt , along with Cry of Contrition , you can stall the opponent long enough for the deck to lock in. Oh, and Blightning is just a great card.

Oh, and Megrim , although a great card for discard type decks, is just too slow to bring out to be effective. Most decent aggro won't have anything left to play after turn 4-5, so it's redundant. I'd rather play a Blightning , or Quest for the Nihil Stone followed by Hymn to Tourach .

I'd also consider Bloodstained Mire s instead of the Graven Cairns purely to help limit the number of land draws later game, they're also just better mana fixing.

Hmm, It's a good idea, as I did get mana flooded against Alex the other night, which was soul destroying.

Man, you really need to push those Funeral Charm s mainboard. Killing a card as they end their draw step is amazing.

you're totally right saith17. Will mainboard them, probably for 3x card:Raven's Crime and a Blightning .
