Get Nikya out quickly to double up your mana and smash your opponents with giant creatures!

This is my first Commander deck originally built on a $40 budget based on the deck tech from The Commander's Quarters video below. I've slowly been upgrading it as I acquire new cards.

10 Deck Tactics

1. Planned Land:
   Ramp our mana to get Nikya out as soon as possible.


2. Bountiful Harvest:
   Further increase our mana supply once we have Nikya on the field.


3. Nature Provides:
   Dig deeper into our deck to find the right cards to cast with our large mana supply.


4. Herd the Horde:
   Get more card advantage by searching our deck for the cards we want. This also includes our only non-creature spell, Primal Surge, which will allow us to put our entire deck on the field if the situation allows us to cast it.


5. Out of this World:
   Our biggest threats in the deck. Big creatures to smash our opponents with.


6. Spellslingers:
   These cards act as our non-creature effects since we can’t run non-creature spells (besides Primal Surge).


7. Gruul Smash:
   Disrupt our opponents game plan by destroying their artifacts and enchantments.


8. Protect the Herd:
   Protect our creatures with hexproof, indestructible or by bouncing them back to our hand.


9. Quick Hits:
   Boost our creatures by giving them haste or trample.


10. Nature Overcomes:
    Finish off our opponents by overruning them with pumped up, trampling creatures.
