Starting Hands

Outdated will update Usually we are looking for some ramp and/or disruption in our opening hand. If we don't have a fast start out of the gate, we should typically be looking for some type of disruption or meaningful interation.

An example of these hands should include one of the following Vedalken Shackles, Grafdigger's Cage, Gilded Drake, Magus of the Moon, Back to Basics, Blood Moon.

Sometimes, we can get pretty fast explosive starting hands. These hands usually include a few pieces of ramp and/or some tutor/combo pieces.

If we only have fast ramp we can typically use that to cast Nin and ping herself to refill our hand.
