Haha, great minds think alike! I actually found a copy of Karn at my local card shop yesterday and snatched him up. You can combo it further with Liquimetal Coating to steal almost any permanent. I say almost because if you target a land with it you just kill it which, while satisfying, is kinda mean and doesn't give you anything. I'm thinking of including these two just to be able to steal any artifact, creature or enchantment.

If you want to target lands Mycosynth Lattice can help with that but if you gonna run this you should also run Darksteel Forge. Add Devastation, Jokulhaups, Obliterate, Pulverize, and most simply Shatterstorm. Extream board wipe in your favor

I'm trying to keep Nin focused on drawing cards and making good things happen when I do, but I'm considering a red blue artifact deck for my next project. The Origins set had a lot of really great stuff in it for artifacts (Mostly involving Thopters). I'll try to link it here whenever I start it!

Dissipate and it's ilk are basically direct upgrades to Cancel. There are a whole host of 3 CMC counters that will do something else as well.
