Ninja Kick the Damn Rabbit!

Commander / EDH* UB (Dimir)

Asax32

Sideboard

I have had an obsession with the Ninjitsu mechanic since it was announced back in Betrayers of Kamigawa. There have been several builds my Ninja deck that have evolved over the years, then Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow was previewed and this deck was born. This deck plays a little differently than a normal EDH deck in the way that it completely relies on all of the low CMC cost creatures and permanents (average cost for the deck is less than 4) to be played while almost never casting the higher cost spells at all. The main combo of the deck is Arcane Adaptation choosing Ninjas (duh), Scroll Rack, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, and as many creatures with a power or toughness of 1 as you can get out. Cloudstone Curio comes in handy to be able to get the ETB/LTB creatures back in your hand as well as getting the Ninjas back in your hand when you play replay those ETB/LTB creatures. This deck is highly aggressive, but does have a control aspect to it, and very rarely wins by combat damage. Although combat damage to a player is what inevitably ends the game, usually taking out at least 2 of the other players at once. I know I am biased on this deck, however, I would probably rate this as a solid 8.5/10 on the power scale. It needs more run in the format though, as I am sure there are decks that it would struggle with that I have yet to come across.
