Nissa, Genesis Mage HOD

Standard GU (Simic)

DustofFalana

Maybeboard

A recreation of the Nissa, Genesis Mage Hour of Devastation boxed deck, with a change thrown in: Instead of 4 Brambleweft Behemoth 's, I took one out and replaced it with a foil Majestic Myriarch. The main idea is to get lots of creatures out, making Majestic Myriarch a very beefy creature indeed. If you feel like being a mega jerk, use Nissa, Genesis Mage 's -3 loyalty ability to give the Majestic Myriarch +5/+5. If EVERY creature in the deck is out at once, it will be an insane 38/38. Add the plus +5/+5, and its a monstrous 43/43. Throw out a flier and a trample creature, which this deck has plenty of, and this Chimera will be something fearsome indeed. Otherwise, the deck is entirely the same. A few combos:- A late game usage of Nissa, Genesis Mage 's "ult" to ramp up a huge amount. If used the turn after casting Majestic Myriarch, you can generally kill the enemy in one attack.- Avid Reclaimer + Nissa, Genesis Mage + River Hoopoe . With all of the Avid's and Hoopoe's out, you can gain upwards of 10 life a turn, especially considering River Hoopoe 's ability doesn't cause it to tap.- River Hoopoe + Bounty of the Luxa + Spring/Mind. Lots of draw from these cards.- Avid Reclaimer + Bounty of the Luxa + Weaver of Currents . Some added mana ramp.- Reason/Believe. Using all of this card on one turn does require 6 mana, but the payoff is great. Use the scry from the Reason part to put a nice creature uptop for when you aftermath right into Believe.
