Cascade/cycling deck inspired/based on a commander VS video and the modern Living End deck, and also includes Hypergenesis because it seemed like it would be fun. I like the idea of trying to optimize both cards in this deck, including enough cyclers that I can comfortably stock my graveyard and enough high end threats that can be drawn into with the large amount of cycling. Special mention goes to Emrakul, the Promised End, which becomes easier to cast as more cycling cards are pitched and is also and intimidating Hypergenesis drop. Ashen Rider is, hopefully, a decent response to anyone who gets too greedy when Hypergenesis goes off, and Scion of Darkness is a great cycler for Living End, and is also not entirely embarrassing to lay down in case my cascade hits hypergenesis instead.

Not sure how well this will turn out, but thought I should try it out here. Cromat is just a placeholder, any five-color general could take his place. Also, this is an idea and a deck in its infancy, and does not yet contain all 99 cards in the deck.

3-Year Update

Wow, just took a look at this after a few years. Realized that almost all of the <=4 CMC Cascade cards are 2-color, so Niv-Mizzet Reborn works well here. Trimming the Hypergenesis package; I want to focus on a single theme, and the creatures I put in are climbing in price anyways. Hopefully can find a few good ways to interact/ramp/draw at 4cmc and above.
