A Niv Mizzet deck designed to not draw so much hate (no pun intended). No cheap combos, and card drawing for everyone.
The mana curve is low to allow more cards to be played while opponents will be forced to discard.
Ideally the first few turns can pump out a couple everyone-draws-cards permanents (Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Temple Bell, Otherworld Atlas, Dictate of Kruphix, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Jace Beleren, Mikokoro). Once Niv-Mizzet is in play, use counters and redirects to protect him as he is the centerpiece, wear opponents down while popping smaller creatures, and wait for a win-con. Other cards destroy, exile, or copy opponents problematic creatures. Some creatures are cheap decoys (Fate Spinner, Dragon Master Outcast, Taurean Mauler) designed to provoke opponent to use removal before Niv-Mizzet comes out. If you can keep Niv-Mizzet and Teferi's Puzzle Box or Mindmoil in the game, then that alone could be the win-con.
In play-testing I have noticed many win-cons. Most employ Consecrated Sphinx or Psychosis Crawler in combination with Whirlpool Warrior, Molten Psyche, or Jace's Archivist, but others are possible. For instance, Quest for Pure Flame can enhance damage. Clever Impersonator can clone it or any other "power" permanents for double the effect.
