I too have a Niv-Mizzet commander deck, but mine is more centered around burn in comparison to counter which I see yours is more directed towards. Mine is a little more budget and yours would probably annihilate mine, but I still have the Curiosity combo. I really like your deck and don't have much advice, but since your deck is not creature heavy at all, I would recommend cards such as Evacuation or Devastation Tide to help against those decks that function solely on creatures. After that, I think that you make the Izzet name proud. Good deck bro

this is my 1st commander deck so i barely know what im doing haha. i designed it to not have to have the combo to win but it helps.. my playgroup consists of a Rafiq of the Many voltron strategy and a sliver commander. we like 1v1 more than multiplayer but also do some 3 man free for all where i would rely on combo most of all.

havent actually built this yet, just trying to get a solid list. so thanks for the suggestions!

@ tlk_lone_knight I had Molten Psyche in there but took it out for a counter spell. I can't remember which one but I needed another counter, and with the lack of artifacts to trigger metalcraft it was a weak link so it went bye-bye. I will definitely try Whirlpool Warrior . Looks like that would be fun to spice up slow games. Thanks!

yes Whirlpool Warrior +Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Consecrated Sphinx is a very very strong move

also feel like Enter the Infinite and Dismiss into Dream are great cards for niv decks

The tokens combo how it works? My Logic told me that only 1 token could be created if used with Zealous Conscripts Or infinite tokens of Pestermite cause u have to use pestermite ability to untap Kiki Jiki or Splinter Twin

With Pestermite , Deceiver Exarch or Zealous Conscripts in play enchant it with Splinter Twin or target it with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker . The copy comes down and untaps the originally enchanted one or kiki to tap again to make another copy woch untaps it. Repeat for trillions of tokens with haste.
