Say hello to Nivix Guildmage. He's fast (CMC 2), he's giving you extra cards and he copies all the cool spells that red and blue have to offer. The low cost burn and evasive spells are nice to copy in the beginning of the game and later you can either go for 2 copies + original spell, or 'cycle' your land cards using his first ability.

Lots of burn, especially the 'tap for one damage' creatures. Some enchantments/equipment to boost the creatures that come into play, trigger but then remain just a body on the field.

Bounce spells to make your life easier on big creatures or some with lots of +1/+1 counters on them. Some card draw, counters and combat tricks (which are all nice to copy).

I guess this is more 1-vs-1, but perhaps it could hold its ground against multiple opponents as well. Haven't tried yet :)
