Why not Assault Strobe or Gut Shot?

Why not indeed!Assault strobe is a great idea I think, and I must have missed it or something, no doubt better then psychotic strike. I'll get that card next round for sure, and with it I'll grab some Young Pyromancer as well, Thank you.

Gut shot is cool, but there is nothing in the deck I would replace it for. the way the deck works, there is no need to deal direct damage, granted it is super cheap, but it would need cycling in order to work. Its really easy to run out of cards in this deck. With hidden strings its easy to get out a lethal number of spells, since the card can untap the land used to cast it and it can go off multiple times in a single turn.

In the sideboard I have grapeshot if I need direct damage. Its not difficult to cast hidden strings 3 times with its cipher combined with artful dodge and double strike. The post combat ciphered hidden strings can untap land to cast quicken and grapeshot. Then we got 7 grapeshots going off on turn 4. With assault strobe, and a pyromancer or guttersnipe out that would be extreme overkill.

I've gotten turn 3 wins with Kiln Fiend before aswell.
