I think our definitions of "Tier 1" differ a bit, I see Tier 1 decks that accompany a larger percent of the metagame and are "decks to beat" like Twin, GBx, etc. I don't consider Burn Tier 1 simply because it is not a large enough of the metagame in my eyes.

It's almost 10%... That's tier one.

Not sure where you are looking, MTGTop8 has RDW at 4% and MTG Goldfish has it at 5.6%. If you have a different source I would love to look at it.

Sorry, it is not currently, as there is no where near enough data for a accurate representation. I'm just going off craig wescoe's new meta predictions. As, there is no real data since banings.

Yeah I'm aware of that, I've still been going of of pre-Khans data and a pinch of post bannings. I guess we are both wrong until more data comes out.

Sure, let's wait and see. But with swiftspear I believe it is tier one without a doubt.

@NateJH If you go by MTGSalvation then you have it wrong. It was in the "Proven" (aka Tier 1) section before Khans was released. I've said it maybe 3 times already, but I guess I'll say it again. The last GP BEFORE Khans(GP Kobe) was won by Burn. There was also another Burn list in the top 8. The deck is a lot better now than it was back then.

Tier 1 doesn't mean percentage played, it is the group of decks that are the most consistently likely to represent day 2 and the top 32. Bogle's is 2% on MtgTop8 and it just won the SCG DC 5k IQ. It was also Tier 1 before Khans, and it looks like it is back. Also, you have to realize that those numbers you pull from those sites are mostly MTGO. This isn't an accurate representation of the paper meta.
