Sideboard

This is my deck that has been with me for nearly 6 years since I started it. It has been modified a lot, and has been raged at by my friends who wanted to play something from their hands.

My problem is, I have problems deciding what to keep and what not to, so I ended up at one point with an 85 cards deck. I've decided to take off some cards, and this is the result. I'm open to constructive criticism, and would like to know what you think of it.

Explanation:Basically, the point is denying mana from your opponent since 3rd or 4th turn with all the Land Breaking sorceries, while cleaning what gets through with direct damage from Chandra or other nukes and defending with Stalking Stones and Arc-Slogger. Hateflayer is there because I fell in love with that card at first sight, and its synergy with Arcane Teachings and Rings of Brighthearth is incredible.

I've used all kind of win-cons with this deck. Untapping a Hateflayer for 21 direct damage, exhausting with Dwarven Driller, recasting a Roiling Terrain...

Updates Add

I'm thinking of the following changes:

  • -4 Dwarven Driller; +4 Reverberate. This allows me to copy some of my LD spells and punish the enemy's casts on my own cards (counters, damage...). Dwarven Drillers replace Mine Layers in the sideboard.

  • -3 Arc-Slogger; +3 Hanweir Watchkeep. Much better blockers, and since the opponent will be hard-pressed to find the mana to cast anything, they will most likely be able to attack.

  • -3 Arcane Teachings; +3 Pyromancer Ascension. If I can drop them early, I can pump them with all my spells and duplicate their effects. When added to Chandra Ablaze -7 ability... it isn't pretty.
