Red-White control strategy. Nuke the field as hard and as often as possible, while dropping creatures that are indestructible or have protection from red.

My creatures weather the storm of hellfire that hopefully keeps my opponent's side of the field mostly creature-free, attacking when they can, and make sure Pyrohemia doesn't fizzle out at end of turn.

Aetherflash makes it more difficult for the opponent to play creatures. Everlasting Torment, while making my creatures suddenly vulnerable to damage, is a late-game contingency for dealing with big (or indestructible) creatures.

Spitemare, as the only creature without some form of protection from red damage, serves three main purposes: 1) deter big creatures without evasion from attacking, 2) add extra damage from Pyrohemia or one of my Pyroclasm variants that I can throw at the opponent or a problem creature, and 3) Shivan Meteor.
