That's pretty much what happens, Gary for damage and then swing to finish it off. Mine ussually goes:
T1 - Slitherhead/GravecrawlerT2- Swing with Gravecrawler. Play another one drop or Stromgald Crusader. If any mana is left save it for potential Bone Splinters. Opponent at 18T3- Geralf's Messenger - Opponents life at 16. Swing with Gravecrawler and Stromgald Crusader. Opponent at 12T4- Nykthos, Shrine of Nyx as my land. Tap it for 6 mana plus my one extra swamp gives me 7. -5 for gary, doing 8 damage to opponent, 4 life remaining, Bonesplinters my messenger for 2 more damage and creature removal. 2 remaining. Swing with 2 creatures for last 2 damage. Any extra mana can be pumped into Stromgald Crusader

Yeah it's a fast deck and I think this will work well, I have all the cards in mb except 2x Phyrexian Obliterator and the Surgical Extraction , which I don't know if I am adding anyways, I am seeing how it looks.

I wouldn't use the Extractions. They are more for a cruel control deck then for aggro. I mean it's nice if your want to make the game last longer on your own terms, but i think the intent of this deck is to just kill kill kill.

I just was being stupid. I meant that I wanted Inquisition of Kozilek . Awkward... lol
March 10, 2014 9:45 a.m.
I don't think I'd run 3x Surgical Extraction . I don't know. It seems like a really defensive card - or a card you bring in from the sideboard.

I like Ground Seal to deal with Snapcaster Mage in the sideboard.
I like Bloodghast more than Gatekeeper of Malakir , but then again I run Liliana of the Veil and discard the ghasts with her +1.
There is a ton of Affinity in the format right now. I would use Doom Blade or Dismember over Go for the Throat in the sideboard. Bile Blight could be a nice 2 for 1 against Zoo, but I think that deck is going to be seen a lot less after how it did in Valencia.

Also, Extirpate in the sideboard is really nice against the American control decks.
T1 -- Discard their Cryptic Command , Snapcaster Mage , Remand T2 -- Never deal with that card again
Extirpate is far better than Surgical Extraction when you're running black. The fact that Extirpate has split second is invaluable on turn 2. Most of the decks where you're going to use this kind of spell is going to have to a counterspell available, even if you went first. In my opinion, Surgical Extraction is good in a Blue deck that doesn't have any Black mana sources.

@mikepayne05 doesn't Ground Seal counter Bloodghast ?
I don't know what to put Extirpate in the sb for?

Extirpate will help u out vs Tron (Hit a Tron piece) vs Pod (hit Birthing Pod ) vs Jund (Hit Goyf/Bob/Fetches/Lilly) vs Twin (Hit Kiki or Splinter Twin)
Vs Any deck that plays Lightning Bolt Lightning Helix Abrupt Decay Path to Exile Lingering Souls or any of the Unnoying blue cards listed above.
Deck looks way stronger now.

Urza's Mine Urza's Power Plant Urza's Tower or Karn Liberated r what u want to take out when it comes to Tron.
They run Wurmcoil Engine as well but I don't see that giving u much trouble.

I would drop Doom Blade or Go for the Throat from the SB to make room for Extirpate .
March 10, 2014 8:10 p.m.
This deck has come a long way since the last time I commented on it; It's changed an awful lot!
If I may: I would stick the Gatekeeper of Malakir in the sideboard (at least one or two) in favour of Geralf's Messenger . I know you have some apprehensions about it, but it is an excellent 3-drop with high devotion and it increases your clock. Now, why would I suggest a Gatekeeper or two in the side? Because there are some decks against which it won't be as relevant as the Shock . Also, if you have two in the side, you have them for when they are. I would also suggest putting two Messengers in the board as well, to have for those matches where you need that extra oomph. As for what to take out of SB, I would say Go for the Throat and Ghost Quarter . Why? Because GftT, if anywhere, tends to need to be MB, and then sided out for Affinity. And Ghost Quarter is amazing, but you probably want them MB as well. Three to a full set. Good vs 2+ color decks, great vs Tron, and if you don't need them, crack them for deck-thinning.
Anywho, glad to see this deck evolve from its baby stages! It's looking like a pretty competitive deck now. If I could +1 again, I would!

Yeah I love the way this is looking! Thanks thuzra!
If I go with the Messengers I am putting in all 4. I am gonna playtest this a lot since I have two months until my GP I am attending.
I could mainboard the Ghost Quarter but I do only want two, otherwise it will mess up my mana.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is the answer to colorless mana. xD
a single 1 is fine no more than 2 as it is legendary. Put in place of basics.
It'll make your Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx tap as a swamp too.

Magiclover318 Grafdigger's Cage does counter Bloodghast , but you would sideboard those out when you bring the cages in. Ground Seal would stop Snapcaster Mage while allowing your Bloodghast to functino normally.
You would use Extirpate on the card you made them discard on turn 1 with Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek . I think you need to put in Geralf's Messenger over the Vampire Nighthawk . The Hawks are great against Affinity, but they're susceptible to lightning bolt in every other matchup.

Thanks! So much has changed with it, and I love the way it looks! I don't have the Geralf's yet, and most of the sb, I only have the nighthawks and the doom blades in sb along with one grafdiggers but I will be ordering stuff this friday. I still need 2 more phyrexian obliterators as well.
Magiclover318 says... #1
Okay, and I have ways to stop them from getting t3 or t4 wins, I am gaining a slight amount of health from the Nighthawks, and a potentially huge amount from Gary.
T1: Thoughtseize
T2: Gatekeeper unless they have open lands for countering. Then I wait with a kill spell.
T3: Nighthawk or kicked Gatekeeper. Swing for 2 with T2 gatekeeper. Opponent at 18 life.
T4: Obliterator. Swing for 5 with gatekeeper and nighthawk. Opponent at 13 Life.
T5: Gary enters for 10, Opponent at 3 life and I swing for game.
