I like building up my board state to do something big. In Magic, that usually equates to swinging out with a swarm of creatures, but I would rather use my position to do more interesting things.

Soul Sisters has intrigued me for a while, seeing how life gain usually isn't a strong mechanic as a build around, but it's long term plan is simply beat down. Adding in elements of the aristocrats deck we can create a strong Base for massive shifts of life and beat out most "fair" decks. Also, seeing as all of our pieces are strong in their own right, we're remarkably resilient to removal, countermagic, and hand hate. Cut off one head and two shall grow as it were. (Hail Hydra)

Of course we do have a beat down plan as our secondary win condition with Cartel Aristocrat and the like, but our primary function is to sap our opponents with our Blood Artists and Zulaport Cutthroats.

As far as interaction with other decks, this deck prefers to not care what the enemy is doing. If all goes according to plan we won't need to seeing how we will simply out sustain the enemy with our life gain/drain. We do, however, have a great deal of removal in the side board to interact if need be, but you never know until game 2 what you're up against, so it's best if it stays on the board until then.

We also can afford to run a harsh land base due to the incredible rate of life gain we have.

All in all we have a solid plan against any fair deck, but will suffer against things such as Splinter Twin. For that particular matchups, we have to sideboard in quite a few cards, such as a few Path to Exiles and Batwing Brumes
