Nice changes but Muddle the Mixture is an awesome tutor for Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive :o

I just missed over that little combo lol back to deciding what to remove..

OK ended up doing this removed Arcane Denial You're right lets not give them cards. An added in Muddle the Mixture
Wife came across this gem Wall of Tears Ideas? Worth it cut it ideas?

Depends on the decks you face regulary. I don't like Wall of Tears too much because I try to attack as often as possible So I rarely block. Also mana/toughness isn't that good. This is also the reason why I don't include Wall of Nets . If you consider adding it to your deck you should also have something to give your creatures vigilance.

With new spoilers for WAR this card might be interesting:
Planeswalker Teyo, The shieldmage for 2+W"you have hexproof" with 5 loyalty counter and a -2 ability "create a 0/3 white wall creature token with defender" we only need to find an easy way to add it loyalty.
This side card was also added:
Teyo's Lightshield - 2W
Common
Creature - Illusion
When \~ enters the battlefield put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control.
0/3

Maybe the green white new adjani, for 2+W+G his static ability "creature you control have vigilance" and his -2 ability is to add +1/+1 on each creature you control and add loyalty counter on your pws. (His +1 is gain 3 life).

You mean Ajani, the Greathearted From the upcoming set WAR War of the Spark.
April 2, 2019 1:16 p.m.
THCue Indeed, what do you think of Planeswalker Teyo, The shieldmage + a way to increase his loyalty ?
April 3, 2019 2:23 a.m.
Right now going to hold off and see what all these bring. Like we stated earlier we like very low casting cost items. Going to set back and wait for them all to hit them am sure more brewing will happen. But yeah some things might change even though it's getting very hard what to take out and put in as of is now.
April 3, 2019 9:38 a.m.
I understand. How would you rate this deck from jank to competitive ? Focus or Optimize ?
April 3, 2019 11:33 a.m.
I'd say in my group it's very strong 1-10 it's maybe a solid 8 low 9. I'll win most of the time. It's a little fast and hits Hard. I added a sol ring in mine for even more ramp. And a little more changes not much though and posted above what I have done.
The deck is very fun to play you will not get much hate because you are playing a wall deck. Then once the commander or the enchantment hits everyone starts sweating things get hot and they die. Walls are big and most of the times it will stop people from coming after you. But then again they are walls people will tend to focus on other people because walls are not a threat as say someone bad ass card that is not yours. We kind of sneak in with this deck.

Well I am late to the party, again :D THCue and Vlasiax you are great and your comments hit the spot as always and described everything very well. Just let me add my 2 cents.
Eloniel thank you for your suggestions. I have also seen the spoilers for WAR and I hoped for a nice Planeswalker which supports Arcades/Defenders, but Teyo isn't that great, sadly. for his he produces 1x 0/3 defender (next turn he is probably dead), which isn't that good on our mana/toughness value. Even if he survives he just isn't that good and to add counters to him we would have to remove more valuable cards. Same is true for Ajani, too expensive for what he does and putting +1/+1 counters on our defenders disables one of our win-conditions Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive .
I'd also rate this deck as a solid 8 with tendencies to become a 9. I win most of the time playing it and catch people off guard, like mentioned before. This deck is straight beat-down without jank combos or shenanigans, since this is what the deck can do best (atleast in my opinion).

You should check out my deck Testudo Tactic Holy Cadre. I think you're missing more High Alert in your deck, I would recommend more of those without solely relying upon Arcades, the Strategist . I also recommend Dive Down and Aegis of the Heavens instead of Shield Wall and Steadfastness and Bar the Door .
April 3, 2019 3:25 p.m.
Even if you use Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive Aegis of the Heavens can be useful with Wall cards, as it would keep it at 1 or below in offense, and the defense would become greatly improved for more converted offense from High Alert or Arcades, the Strategist . I'm not exactly sure on the rulings for this though, as I don't know if counters are applicable to those cards when counting defense value.

Well I just played this deck tonight in my group. I have to say it was over pretty quick. The thing with this deck is once our commander is out next turn we are dropping 3-4 huge creatures then the next the same amount. Once our command hits the board 2-3 round sit's game over for someone. It gets bad fast and nasty real fast. Remember the main point of this deck is to draw and drop our wall down fast. The wall will all attack each round because way...? We dropped 4 or so this turn that cant attack and will do so next round these are not simple small walls that are coming out. If our commander dies no biggie he is very cheap and once he hits the field again we attack and finish off who did it.
I think at this point It's going to be very hard for us to put in anything or take anything out it flows so well as it is. Best thing about it we are building it as a family and it's great. Keep coming and feeding us Ideas and maybe something does make it in and something out.
Cheers!

9-lives I don't know if I get what you mean. I can't add additional copies of High Alert because Commander/EDH is a singleton format, whereas your deck is standard format and therefore you can add max. four of each. Also Dive Down and Aegis of the Heavens only target one creature, and we get more out of the other spells. The remaining points were perfectly described by THCue.

I think it's pointless to use any buff cards that raise toughness to convert into power since High Alert and Arcades, the Strategist use 'the real values' of the cards. Whatever that means.
April 4, 2019 12:34 p.m.
No Arcades and high alert make yours defenders deal damage with their toughness. If yours walls get +0/+2 and you have arcades or high alert, they deal original toughness+2 damages.
April 5, 2019 3:07 a.m.
It says 'the real values' in the rulings. That counts for buffs of +1 defense for an instant? I'd imagine not.
April 5, 2019 10:34 a.m.
Real value mean that if an instant kill every creature with power 3 or more your walls would not be destroyed. The "real value" is here to explains that power and toughness are not exchanged with arcades capacity but only that damage are dealt with toughness value.

9-lives High Alert and Arcedes are not card changing effects, they are rule changing effects(compare with Humility ). Therefore Layers do not apply to them. The "real value" part only is there to inform you that the power doesn't change. E.g. Sima Yi, Wei Field Marshal only hit's with his shield, not with his sword ;)

To be honest you guys aren't making any sense. To be perfectly clear: When I use Aegis of the Heavens does it or does it not use the toughness value that Aegis of the Heavens gives after using it on Wall of Mist to be converted to power with High Alert ? Or does it use the Wall of Mist original toughness as listed on the card as the 'real value' to be converted to the power as with High Alert with Aegis of the Heavens not making any change?
April 5, 2019 1:57 p.m.
If you use Aegis of the Heavens on Wall of Mist and have High Alert on the battlefield, Wall of Mist will deal 12 damage to whatever it attacks/blocks.
April 5, 2019 2:10 p.m. Edited.
Okay. Thank you for making it plain. I just don't understand the terminology 'real value' in the card's rulings. I guess that simply means 'current value'.

So what I ended up with was this. Removed Mana Drain Replaced with Arcane Denial Due to having my costly card in one of my main decks this is a good alternative.
Removed Wall of Deceit And added Slaughter the Strong
Removed Muddle the Mixture And added Aura Shards
This was my final outcome till we brew more or ideas.
:)
