Eloniel I think I won't have the time to do it earlier and maybe there will be a nice creature with defender in it. Also it takes time till the new cards will arrive, so I will wrap it all up in one big update :)

Ephemerate Might work as a replacement also.

THCue Thallid Shell-Dweller is a 2mana 5/5 that draws a card on etb. The other effect is just incidental. It's stats are among the best in these colors.

Ephemerate doesn't do much besides drawing cards and maybe preventing a spot removal. Might be good enough but it's effect is too narrow for a deck that doesn't focus on ETBs. Better play a counterspell over it.

Geist of the Archives is nice, i've been using Thassa, God of the Sea in my Brago deck and the upkeep scry is really good. Getting a 4/4 beater that draws a card as it enters on top of it seems good, but since we draw so many cards anyway I don't know if scry 1 is really worth it here.

K4m4r0 I dunno if you've considered it yet but I think a really powerful replacement for Masako the Humorless might be Mentor of the Meek .

Ya am thinking just the 5/5 is great but the 1/2 kinda don't suit. Just looking for a card that will better suit something we already have a lot of big stompers and adding one that pops out 1/2 is bleh and if we wipe they are gone anyways. so am thinking it's more of a bleh card gonna do some searching and see what I can find.

As HobbyGamer007 said, Thallid Shell-Dweller is very good on its own, besides the ability. I don't like Geist of the Archives because it is just too expensive.

I even own Mentor of the Meek :) I thought about this card some time ago, but I think it is better to invest the mana in more defenders. I usually don't have any mana for the ability left, in my opinion Mentor would be good for the late game but won't bring pressure to the table. Again, that is just my opinion on him.

I doubt you're gonna be happy with Sacred Rites but the other changes look great!

I agree ^ HobbyGamer007

I have won about 3 or 4 tournaments with with deck and it's pretty feared. I can't play it casual much anymore. I have some cards that are not in this deck I can post them later. (At Work Now)

You are probably both right. I just wanted to test it for ages, so I figured it's a good time now. Awaiting your cards THCue!

Okay here I go I might tweak it more but this is the only change I did.

What I have in my deck vs yours...

Mizzium Skin Added Protection

Windswept Heath swamped out a land that could come in tapped

Fog Bank great for that tron or a bigger mob

Aura Shards just broken in this deck kill everything!

Congregation at Dawn tutor for Tetsuko

Slaughter the Strong Another board whip but not mine!

Teyo, the Shieldmage Hexproof plus wallsnot to bad...

And here is what I don't have in mine...

Thallid Shell-Dweller I really do this this is poop and we can have a better card I hate saplings lol

Mana Drain Don't have another or I prolly would or a Force of Will If I could.

Meekstone Our walls are bigger than most creatures. With Tys out we run through them anyways.

Sacred Rites Deffo not to many ways for this to go wrong.

Sunpetal Grove open hand means this could come in tapped and not a fan of tapped chanced duals this is a fast deck.

Perimeter Captain not to keen on this card but who knows it's an option.

Wall of Deceit it's ability is poop. pulled him out.

This is our only differences in our decks. Like I said it's too strong to play with my friends, so I've been trying more casual decks for fun.

Out of all them I'd prolly swap the Fog Bank for the Meekstone I do like the meekstone and fog bank can only block one..

The rest I just cant think of a reason to really add it unless you guys can come up with something.. Mana Drain for Mizzium Skin only if I wanted to dish out the $60.

You should def run Wall of Nets. That card is brutal and I prefer it much more than Wall of Frost.

Sorry for answering late THCue, I've been busy the last weeks. You have some very nice cards in your deck, thank you for posting the list. I'll go into detail for some cards and share my opinion.

Aura Shards I really like it and this card will be added sooner or later.

As I said earlier, I just don't want to add fetch lands for different reasons. I don't think they are mandatory for mana fixing in this deck, also the price might turn some people off.

A friend of mine runs Slaughter the Strong in one of his Oathbreaker decks. I don't think it isn't that good because an opponent can still haven 4 1/1 creatures to block your stuff or to have a engine. I'm happy when it is this board wipe instead of another one because I can save some creatures.

Thallid Shell-Dweller , Perimeter Captain and Wall of Deceit ignore their abilities! They have the best mana/toughness value!

Cards like Sunpetal Grove rarely come in tapped, but that's personal taste.

On a side note Sacred Rites won me a game yesterday. I discarded 4 cards and swung big. I'll keep testing it.

The_Declan I once had both cards in the deck. It really is personal preference what to keep and add between both of them. I rarely block with my creatures so the ability is negligible for me. But thank you for your suggestion!

Great write up man. Gonna make a couple changes and also try out that Sacred Rites .

Swapped out Fog Bank for Perimeter Captain

Removed Congregation at Dawn And added in Sacred Rites

We are pretty close to the same but a few cards posted above we can test them out and see how we do. I really thing yuo need to add in Aura Shards it's a game changer when it gets out.

You are right and I‘ll definitely buy it with my next order of cards. Artifacts and Enchantments are growing in my meta.

Isn't Angelic Wall straight up better then Consulate Skygate?

August 12, 2019 4:38 a.m.

THCue says... #20

Not really but they are damn close might swap something in for it (like a land) thanks for the input!!

August 12, 2019 8:36 p.m.

K4m4r0 says... #21

Gloks I would say it is different. The advantage from Consulate Skygate is that it's colorless and you can cast it early without worrying for your lands.

  • So since no one suggested it here, what you all think about Wall of Stolen Identity it's a brand new blue wall from commander 2019 that coast 0/0 3U copy a creature on the battlefield + gain defender and wall the choosen creature cannot utap until it's on the battlefield.

  • Do you think you will do a Pramikon, Sky Rampart Wall deck ? :)

August 21, 2019 5:57 p.m.

K4m4r0 says... #23

Eloniel I don't know if Wall of Stolen Identity would be very useful since it is really expensive. Could be nice to lock an opponents creature tho. I really like Pramikon, Sky Rampart but I haven't thought of building it (until now? :D), yet.
