Still, some sort of one-drop would be good, as otherwise it is much less imposing early game than it could be. Just something to think about!

Maybe jamming birds or Hierarch somewhere in there?

@Kittacus Yeah, I do agree with you there. Just not sure if it's really worth the space unless it helps me get rolling faster.

Your deck is interesting but the mana curve is very high. I think that you could certainly lower the number of 6 drops you play, and might also want to consider Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle (It works extroardinarly well with Scapeshift and Blood Moon ) Though that would require playing red. Also, I found your deck got mana screwed suprisingly often in that you couldn't get all of your colors out, I really think you should consider: Godless Shrine , Overgrown Tomb and Temple Garden I don't even think you would need a full playset of each, just one or two to fetch out.

@bmadsen

The mana curve is high, but it is easily met, due largely to the likes of Lotus Cobra . It also helps solve the mana-screw issue, because I can create any color.

I'm really not much of a fan of Valakut; it just feels cheapsy to me. With this deck, I was trying to do something a little bit more creative with Scapeshift than your run-of-the-mill Valakut deck. The shocklands would probably do better than Isolated Chapel and the like; I'll probably make that switch and see how it goes.

Thanks for much for taking the time to comment! :D
