GENERAL INFO OF THE DECK

So I've been looking to make a copy deck for a long time but I've been changing constantly what sort of deck it should be in my mind, colors of the deck and what the deck does besides copy things. It finally hit me that black would be perfect for grave digging and I thought of playing Szadek, Lord of Secrets as a general because he gets things into the grave but I' ve also always wanted to use wrexial so might change between them.

This deck will come together in the near future.

Object is to play late game, so removal has to strongly present.

Discard Cabal Conditioning , Mind Shatter , Monomania , Mind Twist, Myojin of Night's Reach, Persecute This would be a powerful set of cards for the theme but not sure if I want to play because it's not so fun for others.

CARD CHOICES AND SYNERGY

Copying has synergy with some cards in this deck but really comes alive through other decks.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is part of Cabal Coffers combo and also makes Wrexial unblockable. Not much to explain here.

Should I play Prototype Portal. I dont like it since it takes so much resources but with the clones being quite cheap 2-5 mana it might be something that could be played.

Rite of Replication isn't here because it's such a powerful card it ends alot of games. Though it might not be so bad in 4+ player game. We've played alot of 3 player games and there it's just a back breaker.

Maybe play some land destruction for cards like Homeward Path and land sac outlets.

NOTES

Could someone tell me if gather specimen means the next creature coming to play or all creatures coming to play that turn.

I use to play with 60 card decks, but then I...

Im sideboarding the Treachery since I don't have a physical copy of it ordered, but I will get it later.

Maybe some counterspell sideboards.
