Coat of Arms is rather ballsy since it buffs your opponents creatures too, especially with tribal being popular right now. Look into Shared Animosity if it's in your budget. Feast of Blood while flavorful is outclassed by most instant speed removal. Swords to Plowshares or Anguished Unmaking you'll typically happier drawing into.
Panharmonicon feels out of place and kinda forced. I'd replace it with more card draw like Greed or Necropotence.
Some sort of mass removal is nice to have and you're in the colors with all the options. Harsh Mercy is great but again with the tribal love going strong, it'll be better later after the hype dies down. Austere Command is nice and flexible as is its cheaper cousin Merciless Eviction.
My last suggestion I've made all over Edgar lists, but if you want to be extra gross and feel like you're cheating... try Reconnaissance. This card allows you to be hyper agressive and attack all-out while avoiding any unfavorable blocks (this is the 'fair' use).
This card also allows you to untap any first stike vampires like Edgar Markov or Drana, Liberator of Malakir after first strike damage is dealt but before normal combat damage is dealt. (handy for getting +1+1 counters from Drana to your whole team)... obviously busted with Stromkirk Captain. This card also allows you to untap after normal combat damage is dealt for pseudo vigilance as the creature is considered an 'attacking creature' all the way until the end of combat stage.
Anyways, here's my decklist... feel free to leave feedback or suggesions. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/edgars-dega-vampires/

Echoes gives you INSANE mana ramp, aristocrat is REALLY hard to kill
Also if you can, Contagion Engine is often better than clasp, even though it comes out later it proliferates way faster, and with echoes you can often drop it for free
Also i dont see Vampire Nocturnus, he is a beast even though its situational, when it applies its game changing

Thank you all for your suggestions, they have all been very helpful. All of my decks so far have been mono black...long story. Edgar was just too good not to take over my existing mono black tribal vampire deck and I decided to splash some red and white. I am very happy with the results!

Love this; +1!. I'm going to copy most of this for my own vampire-tribe deck. I'd personally add Stensia Masquerade and maybe Vault of the Archangel.

I'd try and run Dark Impostor in there - I find he's great in EDH. In the late game he provides repeated removal and can even grow to be quite the impressive threat!

Love this list. Definitely a +1 from me. Here's my list

I tried to play with the discard/madness sub theme but I'm thinking it'll come out for more aggression.

Reconnaissance can be used in one more way too. After damage has been dealt but before you proceed to the next main phase there is a round of priority. During this time you can activate Reconnaissance and essentially give a creature vigilance.

Lol I covered that use too "This card also allows you to untap after normal combat damage is dealt for pseudo vigilance as the creature is considered an 'attacking creature' all the way until the end of combat stage."

Love this list. My deck is very similar. Question - do you find yourself having mana problems at all? You are pretty light on mana fixers. I've been contemplating putting the signets in I just didn't want to waste the slots.

Josh_Estrella: Thank you! Answer - So far so good. Not really having any mana problems, but I am upgrading and tweeking as I continue to play the deck. Just recently added a couple of true Dual Lands Plateau and Scrubland to replace lands that ETB tapped.

Why Dolmen Gate over Iroas, God of Victory is it the mana cost? I realize iroas is more mana but it brings menace and indestructable to the party?
Have you run into problems with the limited amount of artifact/enchantment removal?
Thanks,Tree

Your deck, since it has such a low CMC avg, you could more than likely cut a couple of lands.
