Haha. Tron. So fun to wreck with a land destroyer deck. This is pretty good though, you haven't committed completely to the tron, and have kept your options open. I would add the Channel and Fireball combo, and well as replace Ulamog with Blightsteel Colossus. I have a deck built around Channel and Blightsteel Colossus, however it's inconsistent. Adding the combo is as a side feature with this would be amazing.

You need to run Spellskite in this deck. Every single deck you ever play against will immediately try and take out your eldrazi, and without spellskite your chances will drop tremendously.

Take a look at my G/R Tron deck Karn, the Spirit Dragon. I give an outline for tron and explain every card I use. You don't have to copy or do anything I did, but it should help you out with your deck.

ComboCrazy, I would not run Blightsteel Colossus as It does not have either the targeted removal of Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, the protection and extra turn of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, nor the annihilator of the other eldrazi. This leaves it far more vulnerable and leaves the opponents board untouched. Also, the Channel + Fireball combo, or either on their own is not great in a tron deck. We need our life especially against aggro based decks, and our win cons are our creatures. Every mana we use is better spent on ramping faster, and we need every slot to both protect ourselves and clear our opponents boards. To make those viable you need 2-4 of each and we need those slots for better cards. I agree with leaving your options open (take a look at car's G/R Tron deck since he is also running All Is Dust, but I wouldn't deviate too far. Tron is forged through a delicate balance and if that fails then the entire deck collapses

Channel isn't modern legal. That being said, Spellskite is your out to infect and splinter twin. If these cards are not in your meta, you are a lucky mofo and probably don't need Spellskite as much as most tron decks do.

If burn is in your meta, I would try out Thragtusk in the side. Wurmcoil Engine obviously is an all-star in the matchup but the problem he has is that he needs to swing/block. I think you could cut Chalice of the Void because setting this card on 1 or 2 turns off a lot of your digging ability and sideboard options. Count how many of the cards in your deck are turned off by Chalice if you need an idea of how bad it is for you. If people like destroying your lands, I would also look at Crucible of Worlds, Life from the Loam, and Noxious Revival.

meglo03 chalice is my out to infect, they can't remove it, whereas skite always gets Twisted Image'd. But I do need at least need Life from the Loam, yes. Also going to put in Rending Volley, which is again, better than skite, against twin.

I would not add blightsteel colossus. He is a great card but you would be better off adding the second Ulamog. Blightsteel has no defenses and will be removed instantly, and while Ulamog does not either I've found that in modern his annihilator to often work better than blightsteel's infect

I'm a big fan of putting Kozilek's Return in G/R Tron. Test it out and see if you have better results.
