I've noticed an odd lack of current Alchemy decklists on sites like MTG Top 8. Not sure how many lists are on this site, but I figured I would publish mine. I haven't hit Mythic or anything (not yet at least), but this is the list I am using for the Traditional Alchemy ladder.
Many of these cards are relatively standard choices I've seen in current Standard lists. The only major tech choices I can point out for the main list are my lack of ETB creatures and my choice to play Phyrexian Vindicator and Lay Down Arms.
For the former, I chose to pick cards that wouldn't get shut down by Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. I'll admit I lost pretty hard to this card once and then never saw it again, but I still think it's a consideration worth making. Norn will be in Standard/Alchemy for a while, so it's bound to show up. Not to mention as far as ETB creatures, the only ones I would miss are Brutal Cathar and Sigardian Evangel. The former is fine, but was nowhere nearly as good as Skyclave Apparition. Not to mention there's a lot of good removal in this format, so Cathar is not staying around for long. As for Sigardian Evangel, I think I could see myself adding that card in a future update to this list.
I observed that many mono-white Standard decks were making use of Lay Down Arms and Phyrexian Vindicator, forgoing any major color splashes or colorless utility lands. I agree that this is a good call. Lay Down Arms is a very strong removal option, and Vindicator is excellent top end. In particular, the interaction between Vindicator and Eiganjo fills me with endless joy.
Another minor tech choice of mine is the mainboard Captain Eberhart, but I'm not especially jazzed with its performance. It's the most likely card to be cut for Sigardian Evangel.
I adjusted the Sideboard immediately before uploading this list, so some of the choices may be subject to change in the future.
Curse of Silence is useful against decks reliant on specific engine pieces, such as Jund decks that use Jarsyl, Dark Age Scion. There's also a lot of common staples played between many decks (such as Go for the Throat or Crucias, Titan of the Waves).
I've found Cathar Commando most useful as a way to fight traditional control decks. Flash creatures are good against counterspells and to rebuild after wraths. The incidental Disenchant effect is nice, but I haven't seen a ton of must-kill cards in those categories.
Unlicensed Hearse is quite useful against many decks. The above mentioned Jund Jarsyl deck is one, but plenty of other decks like using the graveyard (such as Grixis Control, some Rakdos decks, and basically any deck playing black).
Fateful Absence is here to kill Tasha, Unholy Archmage. That card is a nightmare to deal with. Absence is also useful to handle larger creatures that may dodge Lay Down Arms.
The extra copy of Anointed Peacekeeper is useful against basically anything that isn't an aggro deck.
Lae'zel, Githyanki Warrior and Ao, the Dawn Sky are here as a more resilient top-end threats. As much as I love Vindicator, it dies to several common white and black removal options. Lae'zel is better against removal spells, since she takes two spells to kill. Plus, she can cycle a card in the late game. Ao replaces himself when he dies, so similarly takes multiple cards to clear. He is the comparatively better option against wrath effects.
