you can't build anything if you're not lucky and draw all urza's lands.

If you are going to add Karn or Deserted, then you are going Legacy and Candelabra of Tawnos should be an automatic 4 of.

I LOVE the idea, but I've almost bought this whole deck and Candelabra is outside my price range. Great suggestion though, and thanks for checkin out my deck.

You have no way of defending yourself while you ramp, at least include green for primeval titan, wall of roots, and overgrown battlement.

Tysnatch, that's mostly true, but not quite: Enatu Golem and Clone Shell are there for that. Also, I want the deck to be completely colorless- it's a personal challenge and a style choice.

nyy5alh: thanks!

Update: On a recent playtest, my opening hand contained: Urza's Tower, Expedition Map, Buried Ruin, Clone Shell, Semblance Anvil, Eldrazi Temple, and an Eldrazi. Since I topdecked Emrakul somewhere around turn 5, with Urzatron totally set up by that time, I had cast Emrakul on turn 7. That's a personal best. I routinely cast Ulamog's Crusher on turn 5, but turn 7 Emrakul? Never done that before.

Wouldn't Palladium Myr be better than Enatu Golem ? The deck could use some earlier protection/mana-ramp.

Also, Quicksilver Amulet would work wonders here.

I see what you mean, but so far, early game hasn't been a problem- when I've played with the real-life deck, my Eldrazi usually hit the board on turn 4. I like the life gain option from the golem, but I could try out the myr next time I play. What would you take out for the amulet? I'm thinkin' All is Dust- I simply haven't needed it.

Gotta say, I'm not sure I like removing all the old comments. People can't see what others have suggested and what I wrote back. My apologies to anyone who liked their comment where it was- I haven't used that feature before.

Was it automatic or something?

Yeah. I went to add an update, and it required me to click the box that says "Reset discussion." I didn't want to, but it wouldn't let me add the update unless I did. I kinda wasn't thinking about the wording of "clear all previous comments" enough- as we know from Magic, this mistake can occasionally be catastrophic. :P

You might try adding 1 or 2 Quicksilver Amulet in here so if you can't get the right amount of mana.

True. I was resisting the urge for a while, because it felt "too easy"... and then, when I can't cast my spells for three turns in a row, I usually eat those words. :P
