GoblinBushwacker: I like U and Treasure Cruise is quite strong. I tested with it in Modern and was AMAZING. But here Chained to the Rocks is very important because when a Monster appears Chained to the Rocks give me the utility to remove them and quickly go for game as soon as possible.

cutBecome Immense or 2 Chained to the Rocks for Valorous Stance??19 lands?? is this enough?? haha im just wondering..

@ daveeeee: I am also considering changing the mana base but I am testing with this land count. Valorous Stance is only situational and isn't always the correct play. So Valorous Stance is sided in against Sultai Control/ALL Control Variants. Even against G/x Devotion it will prove powerful against them.

Hey JakeHarlow! I went to a FNM and tied for first! Got 17.50 in store credit and did pretty well! What do you think of the new and improved list?

I am by no means an expert, but from what I have red fetchlands that only fetch one land are kinda unnecessary. I would cut the Bloodstained Mire for a couple mountains, you dont use delve so its not like you need to fill your yard, you dont have courser so your not looking at your top, and in aggro vs aggro matches 1 lie point can mean alot. typically much more than the very very slight thinning of your deck. other wise very neat build!

I like Bloodstained Mire and it helps thin the list and provide a mountain for Chained to the Rocks. Wooded Foothills is mainly for the Forest, and Evolving Wilds is only for plains if it isn't on the battlefield. Mountains I believe would just be in the list and use up space I can filter out.
To utilize Delve a bit better, I could splash U for Treasure Cruise or stay Naya for Become Immense.

I agree. This deck wants to vomit everything onto the board really quick and having more than one zurgo in hand is awkward. Not to mention lightning berserker can dask on turn one or fire breath for loads in the late game.

Sounds great! I will test 3 Berserkers and I agree with more than 1 zurgo. It has happened to me more than enough =)

But I will keep 2 Zurgo because he is very strong in starting good hits and such.

If I wanted to put in more become immense,? Maybe one more? Would that have much effect because I think it works well, but I may not know anything.

This is actually very similar to the list that won Pro Tour DTK. Nice!!

@ 20brando00: Become Immense is a good card at times, but usually they block the goblin if you drop it, but I like to use it as a combat trick for the goblin that isn't going to be blocked. So overall Become Immense can save a creature that is being burned, but isn't too handy. That's why I have it as a one-of.
@ JakeHarlow: Thanks! I was thinking Burn, but R/g Aggro is strictly better because there isn't enough burn spells =(. But, I thought of R/g Aggro because my little brother plays the same version of this deck, but no green and uses Trumpet Blast instead of Atarka's Command. SO I started shifting and found up with this list (thanks Pro Tour DTK!), and the PT was very helpful with editing and moving bad cards out.

Thanks @ jundGrixisnayabamtesper if that doesn't show your name I sorry. I'm new to this. But what would I use atarkas conmand usually for.

I don't understand, why do you have bloodstained mire in the deck. Just to fuel the graveyard for delve?
April 15, 2015 10:56 p.m.
JundGrixisNayaBantEsper says... #19
I like Bloodstained Mire because it removes cards for the list. You don't to use mires though. And Atarka's Command is the reason it's good because it gives a huge +1/+1 to all creatures and goblins are usually in numbers, so it hits for a lot.

I am on a budget (perks of being a teenager) and I have two magma spray and two wild slashes would that work. Also how do you feel about putting in a frenzied goblin. I'm new so I don't know exactly how to hold good decks yet.

You should probably get rid of the Evolving Wilds and some of the temples. They are slow lands, and therefore slow down your game. This is an aggro deck after all, and those lands can really keep you from going as fast as possible.
April 21, 2015 5:59 p.m.
Evolving Wilds just isn't worth it. To be perfectly frank, running Rugged Highlands would be almost strictly better. I'm not advising you to run either, as Wooded Foothills and Mana Confluence is what you should be going for here if you're intent on running a set of Atarka's Command and using them early enough to matter. However, if budget concerns are holding you back from running the requisite manabase, then at least run Rugged Highlands instead. Also, Bloodstained Mire isn't really doing anything here, especially when you still lack the full playset of Wooded Foothills. Solid deck, but the manabase really holds you back I'm afraid.

JundGrixisNayaBantEsper says... #23
To both; you are exactly right. Mires are some ways to cut the deck down a couple of cards, but once I have the intended mana base, it will be faster and better!
My "WILL BE" Manabase:
8 Mountain
4 Wooded Foothills
4 Mana Confluence
4 Temple of Abandon
3 Forest

Hey JakeHarlow, what do you think of R/g Monsters? I am currently shifting cards around...
April 30, 2015 12:16 p.m.
This decks so good I wouldn't care to play it unless I was ready for it.
GoblinBushwacker says... #1
I would suggest cutting the white for blue. Treasure Cruise was good in modern burn, and i bet it would be very good here.
