JakeHarlow, I have switched this list lots of times to combat the current meta. Now I think I have settled on a new brew that upgrades Craig Wescoe's Bant Midrange from Dragons of Tarkir to Magic Origins.

Hey man! Sorry for being out of contact for a while. I've been extremely busy and also out of town. I have to get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow too. :(

I haven't gotten too many chances to play FNM lately, but last Friday I finally did! I got 1st place with my Atarka Red aggro deck, and then I also drafted Origins after the Standard tournament. I drafted and won every match. Kytheon's Irregulars is insane in Limited! Came home with a playset of the Serum Visions promo and also a bunch of packs. Fun times.

I'm looking forward to dusting off Temur next week and taking it for a spin. I haven't done anything to it since Dragons of Tarkir, but I think it's still good for the meta. I'll be looking for suggestions for it, as always. Perhaps Origins does have some cards that would make nice additions or replacements for rotation.

How have you been? I hope to hear from you more now that my life isn't as insane (and I'll be active on T/O again).

I like this deck. Hangarback Walker is a shoe-in here and can break a lot of stalemates. The deck looks extremely resilient and well-equipped to face aggro and midrange in equal measure. The suite of value green creatures ensures this. You've also got a very solid mana base, so I like that a lot. Well done! +1

Sounds like you are having fun with Atarka, my brother, Chipotle, plays a Atarka Burn brew he made yesterday, and it's pretty strong against my Maindeck! Limited is such a fun format and can be vey challenging because all players have a chance to win.

This deck is a idea that uses U instead of B from Abzan Aggro, which is a very popular list featuring Hangarback Walker. Dromoka's Command and Abzan Charm, help bump the walker to get bigger while I utilize Command to bump and Oj's Command to stall out while supplying with more fuel.

Have you started planning for post-rotation? What are you thinking of throwing in?

BFZ is still a upcoming set and not many cards are being released, so it's not on my mind yet... But when cards are being spoiled, check out my list to see its updated list!

JundGrixisNayaBantEsper I do not know what I was thinking but for some reason I went the last two days thinking October 2nd was NEXT WEEK and not in a month!!! I kept talking to friends about rotation and was wondering why none of them were as interested as I... then I realized it's still August! Although... spoilers tomorrow so we can finally start planning soon!
